Baby Vi on Highchair @ 5.5Months

Oh Boy!! Where did the time go? Where is mommy's little newborn? Time just flew by without us really sitting down and enjoy every golden nuggets. She's growing up too fast. Or perhaps the time flew by too fast. In 1 week's time, she will be starting her first solid. This time, I'm determined to try BLW. Since I didn't get to start solid with the first two older kids because they were in the babysitter while I was working, I'm just so excited to start this new journey, eating journey with my little girl. First food in my mind is avocado! Since it's packed with nutrients, I hope she likes it. This weekend I shall go and hunt for avocados. Seriously, I'm very excited!!

Sitting on the high chair like a pro! Bought the high chair and high chair bumper from Ikea Malaysia. Just love it because it supports her so well that she didn't get any chance to move around. Just stay still like that until she's a pro sitter. The minute after I placed her on this high chair, she started to lick the table. Lol. Am sure she's as excited as me.

I bought this toy from Pigeon quite some time and it has been left hanging on her playgym. Somehow one day, she grew interest in this little chewing toy and just couldn't stop nomnomnoming on it. Guess she might be teeting soon.

Out of topic a bit, but I just like this drawing from Ash. She attempted to draw peppa pig, but somehow peppa pig became two headed pig and this doesn't look like pig, it looks more like a rabbit's head. Haha. Anyway, good job little one. And yeah, she can write a lot of sentences now all by her own initiatives, without me coaching her what to write and how to write. Mommy is so proud of you!

Imagine and Draw

Recently my little girl loves to imagine and expressed it by drawing on a piece of paper. She imagines this little princess with a nice flower necklace, a soft elegant makeup (just like mommy), long hair and so on..

The below is one of her drawings... she said this princess wears a necklace like hers. I gave her one of my old necklace which I used to wear during my college time and she loves it. Don't worry, it's safe for toddlers yeah. She wears for fun at home for few minutes. Few minutes also fun right.. kids!

Okay peeps, this is not a scary monster with a long black hair yeah. It's a black hair princess. Check out the makeup on the eyes and the curl up eyelashes. And, BLUE lipstick! Wow.. my little girl is cool! And this princess wears a necklace just like hers... but princess has no hands. Haha.

This drawing is just so precious. Gonna keep it in a treasure box and guess when she's older, she will look back and laugh/smile.

She's the best!

God blessed us with this pretty bubbly little girl. She's blessed with a little brother and a little sister. She's the big Sister in the family. She's a wonderful amazing gorgeous little girl. She has brought so much joy to the family. She's funny, and when she laughs or talks, she makes everyone laugh. Such a joyful personality she has.

She loves her little brother and sister. She takes care of them. Even though they do have some arguments over toys and wanted to be number one all the time, at the end of the day she still loves and protects her siblings. She will take care of her baby sister when mommy is busy in the kitchen or busy with houseworks. She will sing songs, play and talk to her. She just loves her so much.

She's such an understanding little girl. When daddy is far far away for business trip, and when mommy is so so tired and busy..  She's like the "little daddy" that helps out with the simple house chores.

She helps to set up the bed in the living room..

She helps to put dirty bowls into the sink. She even tries to wash them herself. But she told me,  "Mommy, I tried to wash but I'm not tall enough." It's ok baby girl, next time when you grow up taller you help mommy with the dishes yeah.

She helps to feed her brother when mommy is busy with the little baby.

She's none other than our precious daughter. Our firstborn. Our heartthrob. I'm just so proud of her, playing her role as the big Sister. We all love her so much. Thank you dearie for being the best sister and daughter. We couldn't have asked for more, but we're just so thankful that God blessed us with you. Our perfect gift from heaven above.

Love you very much!

My first lecture from baby A

I have this very not-so-good habit whenever I'm free..  Which is to browse the new arrival outfits for the kids! From Carters to Gymboree to Next to JanieJack. These four are my favorite outfits store for the kids. I bought mostly Carters and Gymboree for the girls and Next for the little boy. Next come out with pretty handsome outfit for boys. I love them. Thank God I'm not living in the States, else my purse will be bleeding to death. 😂

So today, I have some free time while the kids are playing by themselves and the little baby is sleeping in the room, I sit down in front of my pc and started to open few browsers at one go. Facebook. Hotmail. Carters. Gymboree. NextDirect. Janiejack. Crazy8.

Little did I know, my daughter is spying at me. I'm busy scrolling up and down looking at all the beautiful dresses for girls. They are so so pretty that I wish to have them all. One thing about Gymboree dresses are the designs are almost the same, only difference is the color of the cloth or an additional bow to spice up the dress. But I still like Gymboree dresses the most.

And here's the lecture..

A    : Mommy, why you always look at dresses .. So many dresses?
Me : because they are so pretty. I like to see.
A    : I already have so many new dresses. Cannot wear finish. Some never take turns to wear also. Daddy said cannot buy already. You stop buying ok.
Me : Oh really? When did Daddy say cannot buy?
A    : That day la. He said I have so many new dresses and must stop buying.
Me : Ok..  I'll stop buying for you. Then I buy for Victoria and myself ok?
A    : Ok. Buy for yourself and Victoria. But I  dun have new shorts. My shorts all old already. You can buy for me new shorts.
Me : ..........

My daughter has grown up. The very first lecture she gave me is to stop shopping and stop being a shopaholic. 😅

Being a parent doesn't mean you are always right. Being a mother to 3 beautiful children simply means I'm relearning life again. They taught me how to be patient, to be happy all the time, to be brave and not afraid of falls, to be strong even when I'm sick...etc. My children are my best teacher!

NextDirect.com is awesome!

Shopping online is so addictive! I wish I'm staying in the States now. The baby clothes are so so pretty and cheap! How I wish they offer free shipping like Nextdirect.com. Shipping alone from the States to Msia already cost about RM80-RM150 depends on how heavy is your parcel. Not worth at all. But thank God, I have my bestie who helps me to shop every year from the States and brings back in her luggage! Thank you so much Grace!

Anyway, I love Nextdirect.com. They offer free shipping all the way from UK to Malaysia if you purchase RM110 and above. This amount is easily achievable and imagine, they send your parcel through DHL that comes with tracking! Furthermore, their hotline number is always active and their customer service is so good and efficient. I called few times to their customer service and when they said they will call you back the next day to check on your payment status, they really did! Shopping at nextdirect.com is really awesome and easy!

NEXT has been my all time favorite baby clothes. Thank you NEXT for offering free shipping! I hope this free shipping lasts forever .......... And I will be your loyal customer. =D

Here's my second purchase from nextdirect.com. I ordered this item online on last Friday and received the coming Monday. How awesome is this.

Couldn't wait for our coming trip in December!! Say hello to snow and winter!! Yippie!!!

Such a nice jacket! This piece indeed is a love at first sight. The sizes ran out fast and thank God, they restocked again after few days. I have to order a unisex winter jacket so that little brother can wear in future if we ever go to winter wonderland again. Cost saving in mind.

The inner jacket with some fleece on the neck and bottom to keep your child warm and cosy.

Look at my little Eskimo! Isn't she cute... I bet she will be cuter if this jacket is in pinky rabbit. :p Again, we have to make a wise selection so that unisex color can be worn by the brother in future and we don't have to spend additional money unnecessary.

I guess there will be a third purchase from nextdirect.com again since I haven't found any nice jacket for the little boy. Hopefully they have new designs coming out in November. Again, thank you NEXT for the free shipping...

Happy 4th Birthday Sweetie!

To mommy's little chatterbox.. Have a blessed fourth Birthday!! We pray that God will bless you abundantly and fills your heart with more love and wisdom.

How time flies ... today you are Four! I wish if we can just stop the clock from ticking and keep you as a baby forever. Forever our baby girl. I remember how tiny you were when you were born, you led out the first cry and then the doctor placed you on my chest. As a first time mom, I just couldn't stop checking on you every seconds and made sure you were alright. Time passed too fast... you have grown up to be such a big girl now. You are independent, you do things on your own, you take care of your little brother when mommy is busy .. you have so many strength inside of you and I just couldn't thank God enough for blessing us with you, our most wonderful gift on earth!

We treasure every moments with you ..you have indeed brought us so much tears, joys and laughter in this family.

We pray that you will grow up knowing and loving your father in Heaven, be filled with all the wisdom, understanding and knowledge that He has and with this, I can just rest assured that you will grow up well in your life.. because God will do the rest. =)

Happy Birthday my dearest daughter! We love you always and forever.. and you will forever be our dearest baby girl!

The ONE thing...

You know, ever since she started her preschool early this year, she just couldn't let go her books, day and night. She can just sit down and color and color, write and write, and she would rather spend time with her books than toys.

You see...
She wakes up from her sleep, she jumps to the chair and start to choose the book that she wants to work on.
We came back from Malacca the other day and the next thing I saw, she was already on the chair coloring.
She can color and eat her food at the same time, until I have to tell her to relax and enjoy her food first.

This is the one thing about her that we're so proud of. I was teaching Di Di flashcards the other day and 5 mins later, he started to yawn. O.o And I started to laugh. Di Di is definitely more interested with his toys or balls or cups or spoons. Time to introduce more books and flashcards to him. Haha.

I just hope Jie Jie's diligence will pass on to Di Di and they will find learning is fun and not a duty.

Frozen.

*Sad*

I have so many frozen party ideas in mind, but this year, we ain't doing any party for our going to be THREE baby girl. It's sad to say. We just have a birthday cake and present. That's all our plans for her Third birthday. I wish I can do a party. I wish to be busy at this time cutting, sticking, preparing cake toppers, banners, etc.

Since I'm not doing anything for her, I decided to bake her a Frozen birthday cake. We couldn't afford one customized fondant frozen cake, which will cost about RM150 the cheapest. Thus, I purchased some Frozen figurines online as cake topper and after cake cutting, she can use it to play. This whole set cost me RM35 + RM3 for shipping.

Well, I guess the whole DIY Frozen cake will only cost about RM50-RM60. That is if my home-baked cake is Successful. *keeping my fingers crossed*

#Prayforme
#Wishmeallthebest
#Unleashedmyhiddentalent(hopefully)

I've done some google-ling and the cakes below caught my attention. The inside of the cake will be something like this. A watercolor frozen theme cake.

And the buttercream frosting design will be something like this! I saw some designs on castle, snowy mountain, snowflakes but I think all those will take a huge time to design and frost. And I think the one below is much easier. Hopefully it turned out as good as this.

Oh Well, this is the least that I can do for her. I don't have any baking talents nor do I have any frosting skills. All I can do is to pray for hidden talents in baking/designing/frosting. And I don't have to bake over and over again. One time success! I really pray that my sleepless night is worth it.

Kindergarten Headache

We have plans to send our little champ to kindergarten next year. I started to look around, mainly in Google for reviews and feedback on the kindergarten that I'm interested in. For goodness sake, the more I read, the more I know, the more paranoid I became. I just couldn't believe some kindergarten is that of-a-kind. Oh well, don't judge a book by its cover. Don't judge a kindergarten by the environment, it can be pretty deceiving by the outlook, but when it comes to school time, we just wouldn't know what happens.

I wish to delay one more year so that the time spent with little champ is longer. And I don't have to worry so many things. I just couldn't imagine what will happen next year.

What if little champ is not happy going to school
What if little champ kena bully at school
What if the teacher punishes her because she pee pee in her pants
What if little champ do all sorts of drama when waking her up to school
What if little champ feels stress in school

I just couldn't free off my mind with all these What If(s).

Oh God, please keep our little champ safe. Please help us to find a good passionate dedicated kindergarten for our little champ. Please give little champ the excitement to go to school. Please guide little champ to mix around with good kids. Please guide little champ in her studies that everything is so easy for her. God, we uphold little champ into your hands that your grace, blessings and mercy will follow her all the days of her life. Amen.

All I need is relax and breathe in breathe out. Surrender all to God's hands knowing that He will protect His daughter. =)

Little Tikes Slide - A happy Purchase

I've been eye-ing this slide for quite some time and I couldn't resist the urge of buying when I saw this at Preloved. We don't really have much time to bring the kids to the playground, and it has been raining almost every evening. So, it's a little impossible to let the kids run freely in the playground. Not to forget, the big irritating mozzies that loves the sweet blood of your sweet child. Forget all those hassles, I decided to get a mini slide for them to play at home. And when I saw someone selling this... I just couldn't be happier. Buy Buy Buy! Of course, I do get the permission from Mr Hubby. The moment he said "OK, buy". I was like.. is that him? Haha. I didn't expect him to agree that soon because this item will occupy space at home. And we already have a lot of things in the living room, so I was just trying my luck if he agrees to purchase this. Voila!! I contacted the seller, we discussed the price, the location and ta dahh... the Little Tikes junior slide is now at our home sweet home. =D

And Jie Jie is one happy girl! Mama, One more time.. Mama, One more time. Haha.
Very soon, Di Di will join in the fun and both of them will have a fun time at home, in their mini playground.
Hehe...

Some reviews on this slide:
1) I wish this slide is a little higher and longer.. a little too short and few seconds, jie jie is down on the ground. If it's a little higher then it's perfect.
2) This slide is stable! Not to worry the steps will fall apart or the slide will suddenly get dismantled due to the weight.. no. Don't worry.
3) The purple and pink is so sweet.... *ok, this is out of topic* Haha
4) Very easy to dismantle and fix, but too bad, this slide is not easily fold for storage. They do have any range of Little tikes junior slide that is easy to fold and unfold for storage. You can check it out at Amazon.

Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. There's another brand from China, oh well... I don't really trust China products these days. We purchased one training potty with stairs for Jie Jie but the potty drops easily when jie jie climbs up the stairs. Not safe. Not secure. So, I still prefer children products that has proper quality assurance. For a peace of mind. =)

Minions Addict

Her first mandarin word is Xiang Jiao. All thanks to Minion. =D

She loves Minions so much that I decided to get a minion cupcake for her and look at the smile on her face. So priceless. This genuine smile of genuine happiness from the life of a child. As days go by, I love her more and more. She's getting prettier and prettier, her vocab increases and she surprises us by singing the full lyrics of Twinkle Twinkle little star and also Jesus Loves Me. And she did all these at the age of 2.5yo. Wow. I'm impressed at how fast a child learns and unlike the olden days, child these days are so smart.

She happily wiped the cream, the Minion and then the butter cake. =D

Easter Artwork

When I saw this artwork in the baby's bag, I just couldn't be happier. Happy. Proud mama. Blessed. Thankful. All good feelings in ONE! My daughter is growing up too fast. We used to send her to the church's nursery during Sunday service when she was 2 months old, swaddled in a blanket and handed her over to one of the teacher's to be carried in the nursery. And today, she's 2.5yo and she did her first artwork in church!

OH baby girl.. where did the time go?

It was Easter week and she did her first Easter artwork in the church. She was happy with her artwork and I'm super proud with it. Not only that, her favorite song of the week is "Jesus loves me this I know". She sang and sang in the car, throughout the journey home. Baby girl, Jesus loves you so much!

Here's some random conversation with Ashlynn during the Easter week:

Chat #1
=====
Me : Ashlynn, mama loves you!
Ashlynn : Okayy... I love Jesus too!

Chat #2
======
Me :  Ashlynn, mama loves you!
Ashlynn : NO! I love Jesus!

So, it was all about Jesus the entire week. I couldn't be happier when she put Jesus/God above everything else (especially in the chat #2). Easter is definitely all about Jesus. Who He is and what He has done for us. For He came and He died for us, He rose again and He is alive! Baby girl, my prayer to you everyday is that you will love Jesus always, you will always put Him first above anything else and you will always walk in His ways and His words will always be the light of your path. Amen.

We love you so much! =)

Ashlynn's first snow!

Ashlynn's first snow was in Kista. Unfortunately, on the day it snowed, we didn't have the time to take a picture because we had to rush to the airport for our flight to Norway. It will be awesome if we manage to file at least one nice picture of her and the snow. Deep down in my heart, I hope that there is more snow when we are back so that she has the chance to see how snow looks like and she has the chance to step and kick on the snow.

And it did snow again!!!
In Oslo!
Felt so satisfied that finally we had captured some nice pictures of her playing with snow. The snow is not thick enough to make a snowman or snowball, but still, we were glad that it snowed and we had some nice photos.

The snow was getting thicker on the day we left Norway.

The after effect of watching/playing with snow..

Scenario #1
While taking bath....
Ashlynn : Mama, see snow! Got snow!
Me : Where?
Ashlynn : Pointing towards the bubbles on the floor. lol.

Scenario #2
I was wearing black shirt with white polka dot
Ashlynn : Mama, your shirt got snow.
Me : Looking at my shirt.. haha, she defines white polka dots as snow.

How to keep a toddler entertained in the plane

We're back!!! 13 hours flight with a toddler is no joke! But, if I were given a choice, will I do it again? Definitely yes! And the next round, I will have two toddlers in tow. Just couldn't imagine what will happen .. but at least, 3/4 of the journey they will be sleeping. That's the good thing about midnight flight.. if and only if your child sleeps well in the plane. I prayed that Ashlynn will sleep throughout the journey (13 hours) straight and she did. Thank you Jesus. She didn't really sleep from the start to end, but she started to sleep after 3 hours of take off and then 1 hour prior to landing.

And here's how I keep her entertained in the plane...

1) Toys
We brought her favorite toys and the duplo below are the one that I bought for her in Arlanda Airport. It cost me SEK49 for one small box like this. Well, she enjoyed it and most importantly is she's happy in the plane. Otherwise I will be the one mommy that has a lot of eyes staring at me.

2) Stickers
Before we left to the airport, I hopped on to the stationary shop to get some stickers. She loves stickers and at least, this whole set of stickers made her sit quietly during take off. RM4.90 for a quiet 30mins. Worth it!

3) Colored Pencils
Recently, she's addicted to color pencils and coloring and writing and drawing. Thus, we bought a small box of colored pencils and it does keep her occupied for at least 15mins? Not long though, but at least something different. You know, entertaining a toddler is not easy. They just couldn't sit still and if they can sit down quietly for 5 mins, you already consider it a win.

4) Snacks
Snacks and lots of them. From sweets to biscuits to sticks to anything that you think your child loves to eat. And just to make her sit quietly in the plane, I gave in to a lot of unhealthy snacks like sweets. =.= I would rather her have something she likes than hearing her screams/whines in the plane. Once a while sweet makes a happy kid.

5) Baby Bus on Tablet
Her favorite! Baby bus! She can literally sit down for at least 30mins to play her favorite baby bus. So, don't forget to install lots of games/educational apps/movies in the tablet/phone. It helps a lot!

6) Bananas aka Minions
She discovered her love on bananas (that's what she calls minions) in Europe. She just couldn't get her eyes off these bananas and she laughs over their funny moves/characters. I downloaded a minion game but she's too young to know how to play. Anyway, this entire movie makes her sit quietly in her car seat when we took a taxi from Arlanda Airport to Kista.
Basically this is how I keep the toddler entertained during the flight. We thank God that more than half of the journey she was sleeping. Thankful!

And here's my happy girl after 13 hours flight from KL - Amsterdam. She did great during the flight, only a little whines/tantrums/cry. But overall, she was a champ. Thank you Ashlynn, Thank you Jesus. =D

We shall do this again baby, ok? And the next time? We shall do it together with Daniel! =))

The genuine happiness from the life of a child

We woke up this morning, prepared ourselves for work and then we woke the children up. We carried the big sister, and half awake, subconsciousness she said, "Play toys". It seems like in her mind is all about toys. And toys make her happy. This is the life of a child. Well, we should learn from them. The genuine happiness. The smile and happiness that are so pure.

And, that's why God wants us to have a child like faith. The simplicity of a child's overview is astounding. Those tender words spoken from a little child's heart were a powerful demonstration of love and trust. They didn't pretend to be happy. But when they are happy, they burst out into laughter and giggles. This is what God wants us to be. Just take a look at your children. Parenting a child is like re-learning our life and going through the baby stage once again. A newborn baby that is total relying on his parents. The faith that a child has towards his parents. Is just like who our Father in Heaven is and we, as His children, come boldly to him like a child.

The path to a relationship with Christ is to surrender your life to His Lordship, and to trust in His death on the cross as the payment for your sins. And the path to a peace-filled Christian life is to live each day with childlike faith. I was reminded of that reality again last night as I visited with a couple at the hospital. He is preparing to start his next round of chemo, and is scheduled to have a bone marrow transplant next week. With genuine peace in their hearts and smiles on their faces, (along with tears of joy and faith as we prayed) they said they are living one day at time and finding much peace on the journey. That was apparent. It wasn't natural. It was something different than this world can offer. It was the supernatural peace of God which flows within the heart of a believer who is living with childlike faith. I felt like I was talking to two faith-filled children last night in that hospital room.
Quoted from christianpost.

Matthew 18:2-5

New King James Version (NKJV)
Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.

Daniel, I carry you.

Recently, Jie Jie has been wanting everything to be hers. She says "Mine" and hides the things she wants behind her back. We have been constantly repeating the word "Share share" with her a couple of times.Well, this is just another phase of growing up. A normal part of the development process. I will not be so strict or upset because of this, oh well, the power to possess is a natural part of the child’s growing awareness. Give them some time and they will outgrow from this, very soon. Don't make a big deal out of it. Some of these struggles should be ignored — you don't want sharing to become a parent-child battleground.

One trick that works for my daughter to share her things is to ask her to keep back her things. Strange? Yes. She feels happy if she owns the things, and she doesn't feel happy if I ask her to pass the toys to another child. So, what works is I ask her to put the toys on the table/keep the toys in the room, which means nobody owns the toys. And it works pretty well. She even clap her hands after that. So, parent your child your own way. Do not have to be that strict because they are growing up and they are learning. And you do not have to follow the book step by steps, follow your instinct, follow your heart.

Here's one funny act when Jie Jie wants to sit her Di Di's Bumbo.

Ashlynn : Daniel, come I carry you. Go sit your chair (the fisher price rocker)
Daniel : Looking at Jie Jie.

Ashlynn tried to carry him but she couldn't.
She gave up and she stood next to Daniel.

So, I carried Daniel and put him on his rocker and within a split second, Jie Jie was already sitting on his Bumbo.

Haha. She's so cute when she said Daniel, I carry you. =D

The "Protective" Big Sister

You know whenever I see the big sister adores her little brother, I just couldn't describe the feelings in me. I love seeing both of them together...and that feeling is just awesome.

Today, our dearest daughter woke up with a smile. She saw her little brother on the bed and she went over, called his name "Daniel Boy" and then she kissed his forehead. Such a simple act like this, puts a big smile on my face. I cherish days like this. And it became my prayer every day, that my kids wake up with a big smile on their face.

Ok, back to the reason why I'm writing this post.

Recently, she has been "body-guarding" her little brother a lot. A protective big sister I can say.

See below.

#1
Ashlynn saw Daniel was pulling the blanket.
Ashlynn : Mama, see. See Daniel. Blanket. No Daniel. No pulling blanket.

#2
Daniel burps.
Ashlynn : (Ran over to me) Mama, Daniel vomit.

#3
Me : Daniel, don't roll over yet. Wear your pampers first.
Ashlynn : Mama, who? (she was asking I scolded who).
Me : Daniel.
Ashlynn : Mama scold Daniel.

#4
Daniel was sitting on his Bumbo seat.
Ashlynn : Daniel, come. I carry you. Go and sit on your chair .
(Her intention was she wanted to sit on the Bumbo and asked Daniel to lie down on his rocker instead)

#5
Daniel was playing with his pillow.
Ashlynn : Mama, see Daniel. Daniel, no playing with pillow.

She's such a cutie pie. A live reporter. She reports everything that Daniel does to me. Haha.
My cutie pie.

Funny Chats #1 - #4

Some funny talks with my daughter.. it's just amazing that the moment she turns two, her ways of expression are so cute and funny. I'm laughing away while chatting with my daughter... =D

Funny Chat #1

Me : (sms-ed Justin) Please help me to wash and sterilize the bottles.
*Came out from the room after nursing Daniel*
Justin : Why you sounded like Aunty? Should type like "Dear, help me to wash bottles".
Ashlynn : (laughing at me) Aha.. Papa scold Mama.

Funny Chat #2
Heavy rain - thunder and lightning strike
Ashlynn : Scare me...... (laughing away)

Funny Chat #3
Me : Ashlynn, time to sleep.
Ashlynn : Ok. Papa, bye bye. Barney, bye bye. Jup Jup, bye bye. (while walking to her room)

Funny Chat #4
It was bedtime and I was busy with my phone.
Ashlynn : Mama, what are you doing?
Me : Mama shopping.
Ashlynn : Me also. Shopping. See.
Lol, my future shopaholic.

I shall create a new hashtag called "Funny Chats" and record all the funny conversations with my daughter. Few years later, I might look back and laugh and smile.

Everyday is a milestone

If you read my previous post, I will do all I can, not to miss any golden nuggets watching my babies grow. They grow EVERYDAY. It's just amazing how much they learn, how much they know and how much they grow in just a day. Today, I hear her saying new word. The next day, she is already constructing a sentence. I'm just impressed at how fast she learns. People used to say babies brain are like sponge and today, I couldn't agree more.

Few months ago, she just started learning how to talk few words in a go, expanding her vocabulary. But today, she's two and she's already a talkative little bubbly girl. She's able to relate situation and talk. Able to express her feelings. Able to say what she wants. And, complain if she's not happy or if someone bullies her. In just that few months span, she's not only growing in size, but also in character and personality.

Everyday is a milestone.

There's never a dull moment with her around. She lightens up the whole house and recently, she's so much into Hugging. Whenever she sees me, she run towards me with her arms open wide, ready for a big hug. My heart just melted away ... I stop doing whatever I'm doing, I squat down and open my arms wide enough, grab and hug her, and give her few pecks on her cheeks and say I love you. Then, she smiles. That priceless precious smile.

A genuine smile...

My baby girl.... I love you!

Happy 2nd Birthday My Princess!

Our dearest daughter has just turned TWO one week ago and we had a simple Hi-5 birthday party for her. The best that I could do, with that little time that I have. We prepared some food and thanks to our babysitter for cooking nasi lemak and sambal kangkung. Delicious!

28 Sept 2013.

Dearest Ashlynn,

I just couldn't believe that you are now two. It seems like you were just born yesterday and when I looked back those pictures captured and saved in our hard disk, I smiled. My heart feels so full! I'm happy. I'm proud. I'm blessed. I'm beyond thankful.

One of the things that I cherish the most is your SMILE. Whenever you smile, whenever you giggle, that's the moment that I want to bottle up and keep them close to my heart forever. I'm on top of the moon whenever you are happy. And that's my proud moment.

You brighten each and every day of ours. With you at home with us, it's never a dull moment. Our lives have never been the same again, the family grew from two to three and now four. We are just so so so blessed to announce that you are our daughter, and we are your parents.

Thank you Ashlynn for making this family complete. Thank you for making us the happiest parents on earth. Thank you for being who you are, and thank you for your smiles, giggles, hugs, kisses, love....

Papa, Mama and Daniel love you!
