Time is sooo precious~

Just a glimpse, and few more days will be October! Busy Busy.... these 2 mths shall be my busy month, busy preparing for wedding stuffs (big day on 27 Dec 08, pls dun forget, else I will be very sad =P) and house decorations. Eventhough we're not interior design trained, but.. hopefully with the combination of our brains we can produce the best result for our home sweet home.

Ain't she lovely? Children are just soo adorable, innocent and pure.. It's like what Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." I've finally settled with the flower girls dresses. Thank God for Parkson Member's day that we can collect lots of vouchers to grab the most beautiful dresses for my pretty gorgeous flower girls. Stay pretty gals...

And currently I'm busy DIYing the flower girls hair bands. Hopefully can turn out to be something like this. Hehe.. Still in progress, will upload the pics once I've completed which I don't know when because I'm busy, busy with movies.. wahaha... oh dear, time is so precious.

For a better comfort and relaxation, we'll be fixing 3 airconds... wo hooo. Thanks to Justin's mom for helping on this. Recently our pockets are drying up fast, really fast until we have to take a string to tie on our tummy. Good also-la, can slim down. Haha.. not that bad la, even though pockets are draining, but, thank God that we always have enough. More than enough, never lack and never go into debt! Thanks to our provider in Heaven!

And finally, this coming Raya I will be busy painting!! Yes, I wish to develop a room like this, painted with light purple (solitaire-pearl glo), furnished with purplish furnitures, curtains and bedsheets all in purple!! Haha... Pengsan Justin. Let's see how it goes... Purple is just soo elegant that creates an unusual atmosphere and provides an unexpected essence.
I've read it somewhere that it says:

If purple is your choice, you are sincere and simple, always think about others; tend to be tasteful, highly sensitive and long for knowledge; are creative and artistically talented!!
Yes!! Do they sound like me? My characteristics?? Hahahaha........

Kan Cheong Kitchen ~ Do you think guys can cook?

Do you think guys can cook? Do you know that most of the famous chefs are guys? Do you think your dad can cook better than your mom? So, what do you think? Well, I absolutely agree that guys can cook much more better than ladies!!!! My dad has the best cooking at home, and whenever he cooks, the way we whack the food is like as if we were in hunger for days. And, me and my bros are always longing for him to cook more and more... wahaha.

So, let's see how our DNA guys from GFS Banting perform in this cooking competition. The theme for the cooking competition was PASTA and SALAD FESTIVAL. After this day, we boycott pasta for 1 mth.. haha.

Ingredients provided for Group A....

Ingredients for Group B..

And these were the things that were to be shared.

Guess they were too stressed that they had to free their mind by racing. Hin Loong, focussss la.... look at your car.... see below!

Haha.... one was full of concentration and the other was out of focus... =D

Finally.... having Pastor Vic in the team, we actually made the best salads! I was so amazed with the way he chopped the veges and mix all sorts of ingredients to make the dressing. Great!!

Group B's food were simple.. But, do not judge the book by its cover!

This spaghetti was specially taken because it looked more like Sarawak Kow Low mee /wantan mee instead of spaghetti. Haha... again, do not judge the book by its cover! This spaghetti was so tasty that eventually it gave extra points to Group B to be the winning team!

The Judges Sis Sherlin and Pastor Long and little Deborah were enjoying the food. Thank God that everyone was healthy after this makan session. No lao sai, no pang sai, no tummy ache... good good.. proves that we can cook!!!!

Group Photo!!! Spot Johnny with the hairband!! Wahaha....

Donald Duck ~ Quack Quack Quack

I'm having a terrible ulcer and I really really really hate ulcers... one ulcer after another, just wonder why. Doctors... help me pls! Why I just can't get rid of my ulcers?? When one ulcer has recovered, the next day, another one pop out... Aaarrgghhh....

This is exactly where my ulcer is. Painful, especially when you're talking and eating! So, I've restricted myself from opening my mouth for 1 week plus, how torture it is! Sometimes when I have to talk, my friends will be like... pardon? pardon? pardon? Cause they can't hear me properly!! Gosh, I have to repeat every conversations due to this irritating stupid ulcer! And now I speak like a DONALD DUCK!!!

If you still remember how silly Donald Duck talks, then you can imagine how I talk with the torturing ulcer on the tongue!!!

Happy 24th Birthday my dear Justin a.k.a future hubby =P

Happy Birthday to my beloved future hubby JNYS.. hehe. Initial plan was to celebrate his birthday at Chilli's. Unfortunately, due to the Ramadhan month, the restaurant was full house and have to wait till 8.45pm for tables. Aiyoyo, with the condition of my stomach, hungry since morning.. I definitely cannot wait until 8:45pm. So, TGIF again?? Then got 2nd round of birthday song and cake from the crews. Haha... too bad, TGIF also full house. Gosh!! Don't tell me we have to end up in hawker stalls? Oh no... We continue walking and hunting thinking of wherelese to celebrate, finally..... we stopped at Italiannies. Since we've never tasted the food here, why not give a try? Hehe....

The bread, complimentary from Italiannies... served together with the vinegar and olive oil.

Vinegar and Olive Oil... mix together on a plate and dip the bread. Bread also yummy cause we were very hungry. Haha..

Roasted Chicken Italiannies ~ Roasted chicken with sliced roasted peppers, sliced pepperoncini and rosemary potatoes in tangy pan wine gravy sauce. This is really superb and look at Justin's big smile below... hehe.

Chicken Parmagiana ~ Tender, Romano crusted chicken breast lightly breaded and deep-fried, then topped with marinara sauce, parmesan cheese, and melted mozarella cheese. Served with spaghetti. Sounds tempting rite... This is very filling, so share it!

Smiling wide...hahaha.

Cekik myself... cause I'm too full.

Justin : I'm the happiest man today!!!

And this was his birthday present! Every year I will lack of idea what to get for his birthday, and it will always be the 3 common things for guys, no other than perfumes, tshirts or wallets. Haha.. can hafal already.
Happy Birthday to you and muacks muacks muacks!
3 Months left..... excited????

Finally!!!

What do you think bout this new interface? Nicer than the previous one?? haha... My blog got corrupted because I gatal gatal go and change the blogskin downloaded from a site. It appeared funny and worst case is I accidentally click on Save. Sad case... no choice, have to do everything from scratch again, starting from a plain template.

Anyway, I'm addicted to gold, so ... look at my blog. It's all goldy goldy goldy... hehe :)

Home Sweet Home @ Sitiawan, Perak

I really lack of idea what to blog in this post, so, let the pics do the talking lar. Monday oh Monday... what a day of mine, I know I should rejoice because this is a brand new day, but somehow, I just lack of sleep and headache and tummyache and ulcers and sorethroat. Haih... I really hate it when my mouth is full of ulcers and that makes me don't feel like talking!

Anyway, let's go back to the topic. Sitiawan has not much places of interest, except for beaches like Teluk Batik (mosquitoes rule here), Teluk Rubiah (never been before) and Lumut.

Lumut ~ wanted to admire the beauty of the sunset, unfortunately, the sun was so pai seh that it hid behind the clouds. So, no sunset for me this evening. Sunset is just soo romantic..

Justin and me... he will definitely be here if he comes to Sitiawan. Not that he loves this place, but, this is the only place I can think of except for Pangkor.. haha.. =D

My favorite Sotong kotak. Though it's cheap, I don't recommend these as the sotongs were quite hard. Be sure you have strong teeth if you plan to get this.

Huat Kuih ~ Special request to my grandma..I can actually finish the whole plate in a day, but control control.. haha

Now it's time to bring my grandma and her sistas to Lumut for makan angin. Guess which one is my grandma. Tips : she looks exactly like my mom... haha.

They supposed to walk and enjoy the breeze, but, look at all of them. hahaha...

My bro and his gf....

Crazily over chinese dramas...

Lately, I'm just so addicted to dramas. It has been a really long time since I last gila and chase over a few series of chinese dramas. All started with the drama Autumn in My Heart... Lolz, this drama caused me to shed tears in EVERY episodes till I have to prepare a towel in hand. I don't use tissue because there are about 16 episodes and 1 episode 1 box of tissue.. So, towel is still the best!!

After finishing this drama, I proceed on to Romance In The Rain (Qing Shen Shen Yu Meng Meng). I know I'm outdated because this drama was screened 4-5 years back and only now I noticed the existence of this wonderful love story. I knew this drama will be a good one as there are Zhao Wei, Ruby Lin, Leo Ku and Alec Su as the main stars. Really thumbs up to this movie as the whole story line was nicely plotted by Chiong Yao ( a famous writer in China). After these two series, my eyes really tak boleh guna already... cause I shed tooo much tears! Pai seh pai seh.. =)

Now, I'm into The Duke Of Mount Deer!! This is an old movie as well, released on year 2000. Lolz, why am I watching outdated movies? It's all because of SUBTITLES! Some of the new Chinese dramas (eg: Dreams link) do not have english subtitles, no one has time to sub it yet, so, english-kia like me cannot understand. No choice, download old movies with subtitles lo. Anyway, this is a good movie as well. I just love Dicky Cheung's creativeness in words! Even without the knowledge of kungfu, he can still survive in the world of kungfu all also because of his excellent mouth!! Few more episodes to go for this drama and then I will proceed to the next one which is ..........................

Purple Love !!!! This shall be my next series... wahahahaha.

Lou Po Peng @ Six Happiness

I'm getting excited! Actual day is getting nearer, few more months, I will be known as Mrs Ng. Wahaha... My mom's surname is Ng and she married to my dad, Mr Hong. And now, Miss Hong will be getting married to Mr Ng (Justin). Not only that, my 2nd bro is now in a relationship with Miss Ng BY too.. lolz, the NGs and HONGs cycle!

These were my so called Lou Po Peng (Wife's biscuits), specially for the girl's side. 21 boxes in total and the biscuits were soo delicious. This is part of the Chinese culture, for the girl's parents to tell their relatives/friends that their daughter is getting married!!! So, this will be for them to bangga bangga.. haha.. =)

Sushi Zanmai @ 1 Utama

Sushi Zanmai is now my favorite Japanese restaurant and I didn't notice of this newly opened restaurant at 1Utama until my colleague told me that the sushis here were good. Much more better than Sushi King.. real or not? haha.. So, I gave myself a try and true enough, the sushi was incredibly awesome!! The texture of the rice was so smooth and soft that when you gave it a bite, I bet you will want more and more and more. For a better taste, dip the sushi in the thick soy sauce. Superb!!

Go early if you do not want to stuck in a long queue..... Anyway, this is really worth waiting. So, queue if you have to queue..for a good food. Hehe.. :)

Justin's favorite, unfortunately, this was not listed in the Menu so it gave us a hard time to reorder.

The busy chefs......

Hmmm... which one to take leh??? Everything also I want... hahaha.

Too sorry, I can only post pics without descriptions because I cannot really remember what's the Japanese namees.. Try this restaurant if you haven't and I guarantee that you will never have a bad experience, perhaps only for the waiting during peak hours. (=
