Speechless ~

Look at all the pics below and are you angry? Is like free money for the day. What were they doing there?? Or perhaps police traffic in Msia has a different job scope now? Are they paid to be a statue? Are they paid to be a model? Currently Estee Lauder is hiring models at Midvalley, can vote them rite... =P Maybe they can do better catwalk than the other gals... Standing under the shade while pressing the sms keys... and the other friend dreaming all the way. Aih, I'm totally speechless larh....

Zoom out picture. Words can no longer describe this whole situation and if I have the chance I will definitely not want to stay in Msia. Let's migrate!!

They were supposed to be here, monitoring the jam-packed traffic!

Motorbikes replaced their Job! How smart this is! Someone should just invent motorbikes that can talk and monitor the traffic, save cost and no headache and no curi tulang cases! And sometimes, it is better for us not to have them, rite?

Ikan pari masak lemak @ Tempura Prawn @ Huat Kuih

* This post is dedicated to CL, currently in Vietnam again, pity her so much.. but, you can place order from me when u're back and I will be more than happy to cook for you. Haha.. *

Time to save money... and home cook food is still the best and cheap! Well, if you really want to save money, be like an aunty, go pasar and grab fish, chicken, prawn, veges and cook them yourselves. It will definitely be cheaper than you eat outside and also most importantly, no MSG! If you want to keep healthy hair, learn to COOK! So, here were all the dishes I cooked last weekend.

Ikan Pari Masak Lemak
The very first time I had ikan tenggiri masak lemak was during my PD trip. It was so delicious that I simply can't resist and decided to learn how to cook. The steps were pretty simple, just throw everything. As simple as abc.
Ingredients :
==========
Ikan pari
Santan Cair and pekat
Serai
Cili Padi / red chilli
1 keping asam gelugur
1 inci kunyit hidup
3 ulas bawang merah
Garam dan serbuk perasa secukupnya

Steps :
=====
1. Wash the fish, and cut according to the size that you want.
2. Blend the chili, onion and kunyit hidup.
3. Dump all the blended ingredients, santan pekat, serai and asam gelugur into a pot.
4. Leave it to boil and add in fish and salt.
5. Let it boil until the fish is cook and the sos is thick.
6. Tips : You can add brinjal if you like.
(I found this recipe online, perhaps Ieta can help better in this. So I can improve. My favorite dish.. hehe)

Tempura Prawn
I just wonder why the tempura prawn that I fried were just sooo different from my mom's. I used the same flour, perhaps the mixture is too thick or what. I'm not sure. Haha... So, since this is not a successful one, I will not share the recipe.. wait till I make perfect tempura first. Hahahah... =D
(Please don't laugh yea, my first time frying this ok..hehehe)

Huat Kuih
This is also not really perfect. Only the look is good, but the bottom of this cake is hard. Wahahahaha.... failure again. So, no recipe also.. till I make it perfectly. Luckily the flour is cheap for try and error. =D Based on this picture, one lesson to remember which is "Never judge the book by its cover". Always look at the inward. It goes the same for your life partner.. look at the inward and not outward :)

Restoran Hock Lee @ Jalan Batai

This restaurant has always been my regular place for lunch. Whenever I decided to go out for lunch, this will definitely be the place and not PBD or HP Canteen or EnC or UOA or wherever, but Jalan Batai (opposite of PBD). To reach here, there's no shuttle bus provided, so... you have to endure the burning sun and walk all the way from HP Towers to Jalan Batai. It isn't that far, but bring plenty of tissues/towel to wipe off all your sweat due to the extreme weather in Malaysia.
This is the best wantan mee in town.. but I just don't fancy wantan mee. To me, all wantan mee is just a wantan mee and I hardly order this meal. My colleague was first time here and she said "This is what we called LUNCH". Hahahaha.....

Oh Yea.... this is my favorite. Fish Paste Noodle.... Delicious! Usually I don't order this because of the milky taste (I don't like milk), but this stall offers a very delicious fish paste noodle, eventhough he added milk, but no milk taste. Yummy!

And finally, Siew Yoke! This is the best siew yoke in town I can say... The skin is really crispy and the meat is so tender and juicy... blog bout this also makes me hungry already.. ~

There's one more food that is very delicious is their pork ball noodle. If you're working at Damansara Heights, opt for this hawker stalls. Better be early, as early as 11.45am because the place will be filled up by 12pm.

Comparison VS Individualism

*Warning* This might be very boring or put you to sleep!

I wonder why some people just love to compare. Anything, everything, all things that they do, they bring out to compare with others. See, I can do more things than you. Why your work so little but mine like a rubbish dump uncleared? If I can do this, I think you can do more than I do because I'm already overloaded. Your thigh so sexy and mine like giant. Gosh, what concept is this? It doesn't make sense to compare yourself with others because you are an INDIVIDUAL. Everyone is unique in this world and God made us in His likeness! You have six fingers but I have five, you have two heads but I have one... there are so many things to compare, I wonder if you start comparing from the bottom, when can you finish comparing? You can only stop comparing when you DIE! That's when you stop talking... What a miserable life you have cause your life is stucked with comparison.

Ok now, talk bout quantity and quality then. Based on this picture, if you were to judge the book by its cover, who do you think will win? The blue shirt guy cause he's more muscular? Well, based on the outward judgement, you might think the blue shirt fatter guy will win. In fact, if you screw deeper down the book, you will realise that size is not the factor of winning. Sometimes bigger size man you think will win the battle, but you're wrong. Judge by the inward. Some people, their size/quantity of work might be small but the quality is superb. This is what we called achievement. If you think you did a lot of work and that is achievement, then you are absolutely wrong. The word achievement is based on quality and not quantity. You are a failure indeed if you are into quantity and not quality. Quantity destroys people and lead people to greed, whereelse quality draws people to success!

Sometimes I really cannot tahan people that love to cakap besar but otak kosong. Or those people that think their otak is besar in fact their otak is besar and kosong. Perhaps eat too much otak udang and act like udang.

And I really anti people who are egoistic! Ego people will not go far as they are not willing to learn. Learning never stops and if they stop learning because they are ego, fine.... dig a hole and stay inside the hole forever and ever. Well, some people just like to think they are big and high now, you all must listen to me. Listen or Die! Choose one.... OMG!

And and, people who just loves to self praise! Adoooiiii..... boleh pengsan la. People praise you is ok, but don't sendiri self praise ok. If you are perfect, I don't mind you self praise, but come on.. no one is perfect and you deserve self praise only within your own boundary. Not self praise to the whole world..... =.="

I think I should stop now.... otherwise the list will go on and on..... Enough of me expressing it here! Hope you're not asleep.... kekekekekeke.

Restoran Yat Yeh Hing @ Kelana Jaya

I'm back to food... It seems like I just can't escape from blogging bout heavenly food. Thanks to CL, recommended this place for her farewell before she left for Vietnam again. Guess she's missing Asian food now.. and am I bad to tempt her this and that? Haha..... few more weeks, you'll be back yea CL. So, don't be too sad.. hehe.

Restoran Yat Yet Hing is quite famous for it's chicken rice. During lunch time, be early... otherwise you will have to stand and wait. It's quite easy to locate this shop, after the Kelana Jaya LRT station, look for an overhead bridge. After the overhead bridge, turn left and this shop is just right at the corner. Btw, you can also see a Catholic Church at the opposite direction of the road.

The Siew Yoke (RM12)

Taugeh...CL don't eat this. Hahaha.... I think Vietnam got a lot rite. Learn to eat la.. =D

Roast + Steam chicken, 1 whole chicken bout RM20+ if I remember correctly. Nice!!

Bored with food blogging and now, I would like to present to you my new companion... Brownie & Blackie! When I told my mom I bought rabbits, she said, "Big gals don't rear rabbits." I was like.... huhu, big gals dun rear pets wan meh? Anyway, as long as I like.. hehehehe. Love pets so much and tempted to get a dog (the handsome Siberian husky), big enough for me to hug and sayang and I just like the feeling when I'm back, the dog will just run to the door and welcome me home. Oh, when can only I have the chance to feel that? 20 years later when I get myself a landed property? Hmmmm....

I'll present to you Brownie & Blackie!

Blackie : Go away la Brownie... can't you see I dun have space to enjoy the delicious filtered drink? You're so chubby and I can't even push you .....

Brownie : Hey Blackie, look here... I can see a tong of Pellets right in front of me. Do you think you have the energy to make a hole through this hutch and get the pellets?

Subways @ Pusat Bandar Damansara

This was actually my 2nd time to Subways. Hahaha.... really cannot believe rite, since Subways exist long long ago. Usually I don't fancy paying that amount for a sandwich, I would rather pay that amount, or top up a little and get Manhattan or whatsoever. That's just my concept. That's why till now, this was only my 2nd time. The first time was last week! Terrible.... and since last year, I said I must try Subways and only till last week, my impian tercapai! Well, after trying the first time, my whole concept changed and oh, I will actually pay the amount for the Subways Meltz, with turkey ham and turkey breast. Yummy yummy.... Thanks to hubby, always recommend me delicious and expensive food. Hehehehe.... Luckily I'm not into steak.. otherwise, $_$.

The whole process of making the sandwich, starting from toasting the bread with cheese and ham, then add on the veges and finally, the sauce!

Parmesan Oregano is always the choice...

He looks so happy....can escape from my home cook food maybe. =D

2 turkey breasts sandwich and 2 chocolate chips...

Wow, delicious. Just can't wait to grab a bite!! To really enjoy eating this, girls... you cannot be malu malu yea. Open your mouth big and grab a big bite.. otherwise it will be more messy with all the veges dropping and mayonaise on your lips or worst case, stuck on your cheeks. Haha. So, open your mouth wide just like giant fish!

Me with my lovely sandwich... but I will eat you real soon. Wahahahaha.

Address: 65-1 (above Wine Cellar) Jalan Bangkung,Bukit Bandaraya 59100 Kuala Lumpur
Tasting Room

We ordered the set lunch because it is more worth it. If ala-carte it will cost bout RM35-XX depends on what you order. Set is only applicable for lunch and cost RM23.90++ which inclusive of appetizer, main course, dessert and also drink.

Creamy Mushroom ~ Generous in the soup... such a big portion! Delicious as well.

Pan-fried Dory fillet in a flavoursome anchovy and white wine sauce, served on a bed of creamed spinach with garden vegetables. This portion was kinda small, not enough to feed my big stomach. If you go for ala carte ,then the portion will be bigger.

Creamy, spiced spaghetti with prawns, artichoke hearts and mushrooms, it's filling and yummylicious spaghetti. From the set lunch, you can choose either the dory fillet or this. If I were to go again, I will opt for this spaghetti. At least it looks more filling than the dory. If you're small eater, go for dory fillet then.

Jessey (left) enjoying her spaghetti and Edwin already finished his meal within 5 mins. hahaha.

Yen Fen (left) seems to be very full... and Chris, finished eating (5 mins also) and dunno what to do... Me, also finished eating and paparazzi-ing my colleagues.. =)

Dessert of the day ~ Tiramisu cake.
