Purpose of Marriage

Genesis - Chapter 1:27-30
27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
28. God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
29. Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.
30. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground--everything that has the breath of life in it--I give every green plant for food." And it was so.

Genesis - Chapter 9:77. As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it.

Ephesians - Chapter 5:31-33
31. As the Scriptures say, "A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one."
32. This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one.
33. So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.

Virtuous Women

First Peter - Chapter 3:3-4
3. Don't be concerned about the outward beauty that depends on fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes.
4. You should be known for the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.

First Timothy - Chapter 3:11
11. In the same way, their wives are to be women worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.

Proverbs - Chapter 12:4
4. A worthy wife is her husband's joy and crown; a shameful wife saps his strength..

Proverbs - Chapter 19:1313. A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping.

Proverbs - Chapter 21:9
9. Better to live on a corner of the roof than to share a house with a quarrelsome wife.

Proverbs - Chapter 21:1919. Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and ill-tempered wife.

Addiction in Aquascaping :P

Recently, I'm seriously addicted to aquascaping! Lolz, this addiction really cost me hundreds (act Justin blessed me.. :P), but I can say that once I see the result, it is really worth it!!! Yahoooo... hopefully, my plants in the tank can have a long life and live happily ever after with beautiful fishes (lolz, recently watch too much disneys and here I am, happily ever after..wahaha).

Look at my little tank.. with 2 algae eaters, 2 vacuum cleaners, 1 Neon, 3 tigers, and 10 other unknown species. Wahaha... I really love my tank, and it's my new hobby! Wooott!!! Previously I reared hamsters, and now I'm bored over it! So, let's try something new!!! What I'm trying to build now is an aquascaping tank. Hopefully it works with the newly bought CO2. Stay healthy plants!!

Farewell Lunch @ Michelle See

Nothing much to blog about in this post, just a token of appreciation to Michelle (ATL for Agilent). Just can't believe that she stayed in HP for almost 6 years, this is what I heard. Really great of her, and from here you can see that she's loyal. Ehe.. Finally, she has a great movement, and here she is, leaving us back in HP.. huhu.

Anyway, we celebrated her early farewell at Secret Recipe. Her last day is on this coming Friday, but celebrated it earlier not to halau her asap..ehe, but some of our colleagues cannot make it on Friday. That's why lo....And, we waited for almost 1 hour for our spring rolls. That supposed to be our appetizer, but, mana tahu, due to inefficiency, our appetizer became our dessert!!! Apala...

All the best to you!!! Have a great journey ahead .... :)

Transforming the Nation through the Local Church

Urgent Call for Continued Prayer(Malaysia General Elections 2008)
  • We thank God for the smooth, event-free election. We believe this has come about through all our prayers, so thank you for praying.
  • We look forward to a new era of inter-racial respect, religious freedom, respect for places of worship and integrity in governance.
  • We look forward to a nation free from corruption, communal hatred, political intimidation, judicial rot and many other ills that have plagued the system.
It is therefore imperative that we continue to pray, especially during this critical transitional period.
Pray:
  • For smooth handover of power to the four new state governments;
  • For the candidates who have won that they will remain humble and work diligently to fulfill their promises to the rakyat;
  • For those who failed to win that they will be gracious in their loss, they will continue to serve the rakyat and play an effective “check and balance” role;
  • For harmonious working relations among the Barisan Rakyat parties – PKR, DAP and PAS;
  • Against those who are out to stir dissension and create strife and unrest;
  • For all to refrain from spreading messages, such as SMS and e-mails, that may cause racial and religious misunderstandings;
  • For harmonious and productive relations in all aspects between the Federal Government and the five states under opposition rule; and
  • For the elected members of parliament (MPs) that they will uphold the law-making institution, and live up to the rakyat’s expectation as role models of integrity, courage, fairness and selflessness.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Knowing Love ~

The most ideal wedding is definitely a dream wedding run smoothly. Imagine all the plannings do not go your way and yeah, your once in a lifetime marriage is spoiled by the lousy gown, stress over the PA systems, Emcees, and so on. Oh no, I can just pray for the best on my wedding day!

You have the groom... you have the date.. but do you have what it takes to make your wedding day a success???!!!

Honestly, dreaming of getting married is exciting but planning over a wedding is totally tossing and stressing. Which is the best Bridal House in town that offers the best package? Where should I get ppl that put up the best decos? Which restaurant in Banting that offers the best food? Lolz.. I better crack my head and divide my brain to several parts! Planning over your own wedding supposed to be exciting and yet, I found it really ma fan as not all things you planned will go your way.

Anyway, I found this interesting website regarding "Matters of the Heart".
Feel free to visit this website : Matters of the Heart

And here's one interesting post about "Marital Advice That Stands the Test of Time by Cameron Ingalls".

Let me quote some of the interesting points to learn..

Planning a wedding is a lot of work, but after you say, “I do,” that’s when the real work begins.

The second piece of advice my wife and I learned from an older couple is the classic adage: never go to bed angry.

Here’s the drill: Before going to bed ask your spouse, “How have I hurt or offended you today?” Then wait for their answer and listen without saying anything back. Truly listen. Don’t speak or retaliate. Try not to make excuses or shift the blame for your actions. Let down any defenses you may naturally have and prepare to be served your fair portion of humble pie. Try for a moment to see things from your spouse’s eyes and sincerely apologize. Apologize for anything you did or didn’t do which caused your spouse to feel hurt. Then ask, “How have I blessed you today?” Hopefully there will be a list of actions of love and kindness, which you have showered upon your spouse that same day. This is a great opportunity to build back esteem after hearing the first part of this exercise.

Everyday we need to be forgiven and to forgive each other or else we may build a laundry list of offenses that can lead to bitterness, resentment, and ultimately divorce. If you plan on investing even half as much into your marriage as you do your wedding, I suggest you make this an evening ritual before you and your spouse go to bed. You have nothing to lose but a little pride and a lot of hurt.

So this is interesting.. isn't it???

Restoran Fatty Crab Sdn Bhd @ Taman Megah, PJ

I was sooo lazy to cook and at the same time, craving for crab. Thus, thanks to fatty crab at Taman Megah, PJ that I can have such a wonderful dinner!! :P

Restoran Fatty Crab Sdn Bhd
No 2, Jln SS 24/13 , Taman Megah, Petaling Jaya

The very sedap chicken wing.. yummy yummy!

It was a normal fried rice and yet everyone order this instead of normal white rice.

This was the crabby that I'm longing for!!!! There are two types of cooking, either spicy or steam. And this is the spicy style, perhaps next time I should try the steam style. Ehe.. I love crabs!!!! :P
