There are many things in life that you are not able to control forever. Things come and go, relationship comes and go, money comes and go. Indeed there's nothing on earth that you can hold forever. One day, it will be gone... all gone.
Everyone is praying for Haiti, people in Haiti are desperate for doctors, nurses, relief workers and desperate for food, water, shelter. But, what are we doing here? Enjoying our lives to the fullest, we get to eat chicken chop, drink starbucks coffee, stay at a very luxury home, having a maid to do all the housework for you and you, sitting on the sofa watching movie with a cup of coffee on your left hand and holding ice cream on the other hand. Life is so good.... but, how about the life of the people in the other side of the sea? We can afford to waste a spoon of rice or dump the remainder food in the dustbin when you can't finish them ... have you ever thought of those people that are starving for food and striving for life? To find a slice of bread will cost them 1 whole day... can you imagine the situation in Haiti now?
I can't go there physically, but I can pray! So, everyone... let's join our hearts and pray! Pray for God's blessings to flow... pray that the nation will rise up again... pray that the people in Haiti will have courage to live, even though some lost their loved ones... pray for wisdom for the leaders in the country... pray for the docs, nurses and relief workers that are giving a helping hand there.. pray that God will work miraculously and wonderfully in the lives of the people through this situation.. pray for the peace, joy and strength from God.. and lastly, surrender the whole situation to God because God will surely take care of all the things that we hand over to Him!
Matthew 6:30-34 (New Living Translation)
30 And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33 Seek the Kingdom of God[a] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
34 “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

I Surrender All
by Andre Hermanto
Verse:
Thank You for the cross that You have paid
For all my sins You've sacrificed Yourself
I am nothing Lord without Your Grace
You were there to lift me when I failed
Bridge:
As I lift my hands
Pour Your mercy o God
I'm longing for Your presence now
As I lift my hands
Pour Your mercy o God
I'm longing for Your presence now
Chorus:
I surrender all and I will follow You
I surrender all and bring my life to You
I surrender all and live my life for You
I surrender all, I surrender all
To You Jesus
