China BOLEH!!

My last trip to Guilin, China from 18 - 25 Dec 09 and I was so impressed by some of the strong mighty skillful talented people in China. No joke and a must to do in China is - to watch their dream live performance! They are seriously so talented that you will see them perform with your jaws open and your eye balls juggling out. Your heartbeat might pump faster than usual because their actions are so called dangerous and exciting - what if they missed the jump and fall? However, their performance is so perfect that no defect can be found! How great those people are! So, if you ever plan a trip to China, make sure the dream live performance is included in the package. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take any pics or videos of the performance, so.. no pics/videos to prove to you. Be there and you will agree with me.

So, here are some pics of the amazing stuffs in China. Don't look down on this country because of the fake milk or fake pau or anything that is fake, but if you look at their talents and strength, you will be amazed!
1. The amazing Seven Stars Cave that is being lighted like below!

From this picture, you will think that there is road at the bottom, but this is a water reflection that makes it look like as if there is still pathway underneath.

2. So many of us on a raft and only 1 man rowing the raft!

The only time he stopped to rest was when we reached our destination after about 15 minutes ride. How tough their life is and no choice, they have to work for money. Some were even at the age of 60+ and it was so pitiful when I saw him struggling to continue rowing even he was panting for breath.

If you ever ride a bicycle with your brother sitting behind, you will know how tough the cycling will be. And the pic above and below, he has to carry woods! And it's definitely 5x heavier than your little brother. Life is not really easy for them......

An old man carrying a bed frame all the way up at the Longsheng terrace field.

3. Any living things can be eaten or used as medicine!

4. Impression of Liu San Jie performance at Yangshuo

As mentioned above, China is really good for the live performance. And I really enjoy watching how they twist around, how they jump from one rope to another rope twisting their body and etc. Impression of Liu Sanjie is an outdoor performance placing its setting in real mountains and rivers in Yangshuo. The stage is a 2km (1.25 miles) stretch along Li River with 12 mountain peaks in the background.

5. No Fear!

The man on top of the bus was tying something on the bus while the bus was moving. Wow, there was no fear of death!

6. Everything in China is Money!

Initially riding this horse cost about RMB15 and the guy didn't mention per person and we thought it was per ride. So we thought in order to make it worth, thus I hopped onto the horse. And then they have some photography session with us without asking us if we would like to take some pics. Total, they took about 4 photos. And after finished riding, they charged RMB30 for two persons and then forced us to buy those 4 photos, 1 for RMB25. How crazy was that! And we told them we do not want those photos, but they said you need to buy. *Crazy*. So, everything in China is money. Do not play play even with a pack of sugar in the hotel room. You need to ask if it's free, if yes, then go ahead. If you're not sure, do not touch. There was a case whereby one friend of us accidentally dirty the towel with some lipsticks stain, and the hotel found that stain and charged us RMB10 for that. Thus, becareful when you touch anything in China. Everything is Money!

7. Li Jiang Waterfall Hotel that used up few thousands per day for the waterfall show every night!

8pm and the music started. Water started pouring from the above..

The rainbow waterfall show...

8. No nails needed!

A perfectly carved wood that forms a house! No nails needed and how much work is this!

9. Bird Training

This is the bird that most of the China people used to catch fish. If you call this as DUCK in front of them, and if they understand English, you will get into trouble. They will shout back at you and said THIS IS NOT DUCK! Haha....

After visiting China, there are many things in me that I started to appreciate. First of all, I learn to appreciate my current life. I have such a good life, easily earning money in office, nice chair, nice environment and yet I still want to complain. Secondly, thank God that Malaysia people are very friendly. Unlike in China, people shouting everywhere and don't ever think you want to use this phrase "Customer is always right" in China. This phrase does not apply in China. They will fight until they get $$$ from you. Not to say China is not good, but that is their culture. If you go to Shanghai, it might be different again because people there are more educated. So, this trip was really an eye opening for me to understand that there are some people in the world that really needs to work so hard for the sake of money. And that's the reason why you cannot blame them to charge you on the little bit things, all also because their money is really hard-earned.
