Shopping Spree on Deepavali @ Weddding Preparations

Happy Diwali to those who are celebrating and then Happy Shopping to me... Which girl on earth that is not happy when comes to shopping??? I'm pretty good in shopping and I can even shop for the whole day without feeling tired. But after finished shopping and my soul is satisfied, then only the tiredness arouses. Guys are totally different. Not even 2 hours of walking with their gf shops after shops, they already started to show symptoms of tiredness or laziness maybe. Their eyes will then roll left and right to look for chairs while the girls will roll their eyes left and right to look for 70%, 50% shops.. Or sometimes their steps will be slower and slower wherelse the girls will be walking faster and faster to save time so that they hv more time to shop. wahahaha. I really had a great shopping last Monday and look at all the wonderful lovely things.................

Orange Chocolate Muffin

I'm totally fanatic towards muffin, hoping one day I can bake something like Kenny Roger's Muffins. Do you think is possible?? I hope so... one day. One fine day!! I know I'm supposed to slim down for end of the year, but I just simply can't resist the temptation of baking and eating.. =.="

This recipe from Google really makes me semangat because the steps are pretty simple and straight forward. Why not give it a try??

90g (3.25oz) plain flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tsp baking powder
115g (4oz) caster sugar
1 egg, lightly beaten
120ml milk
125g (4.5oz) plain yogurt
85g (3oz) butter, melted and cooled
1 tsp finely grated orange rind
100g (3.5oz) orange chocolate chopped into chunks

Preheat oven to 200C/400f/gas mark 6, Put 12 paper cases in muffin tin, Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar. Set to one side. In a separate bowl mix together the egg, milk, yogurt, melted butter and orange rind. Pour the wet ingredients into the flour mixture and stir lightly until just combined. Add the chocolate chunks and stir them in gently. The mixture will be quite lumply, but there shouldn't be any flour visable. Spoon the mixture into the cases and bake for 20 minutes approx or until the tops spring back when you touch them. Cool on a rack.Makes 12 muffins. A tip is not to over mix when you combine the wet and dry ingredients.

And these are how my muffins look like. Still doesn't look and taste like Kenny Roger's muffins. Sigh... anyone can teach me how to bake good muffins?? At least better than the very first time I baked muffins. Hahaha..
Refer to my First Muffin Attempt post and see how much I've improved! Wahaha...

Food Food Food O.O @ Damansara Village Steamboat Restaurant

Back to food after a long post bout my upcoming wedding preparations! This is actually my first time having dinner with my HP big boss, not the CEO la of course. First time, it's first time. If dinner with big boss, guess who will pay? Haha. Nothing great bout it, just that I'm more concern bout the food-food-food. We had our outing at Damansara Village Steamboat Restaurant.

Big aquariums to cater all the fresh lively big prawns, fishes, crabs... tortoise pun ada. But, the tortoise is only for display larh. Seafood here is a good choice because they're all very fresh! Do you think you can do this? You rear a fish, and when it's time, you slaughter it. Lolz..

The assorted balls - fishballs, meatballs, bla bla bla...

My fav golden mushroom ~ yummy yummy

Abalone ~ very fresh and sweet and delicious! I want more.........

Marinated ginger crab.....

Beggar's chicken (if I'm not wrong) ~ Wonder why it's known as beggar's chicken. Delicious and tasty as well...

Come come.. makan makan! Tips, order the wine soup because it's super delicious!!

Yen Fen and me... she's the loyal customer to this restaurant! And she recommended all the delicious food.. maybe she shall be the next food critics. Haha..

Photo session to digest some of the food...

Honeymoon ~ Where???

Do you realise that almost half a decade I merely blog bout food? Because... I nid to diet! Diet.. arrggh. Give me tips how to reduce my tummy, don't tell me exercise la cause I'm a very lazy person. And I'm well known as a lembab person. Even a simple lompat jauh also I can't make it during high school..Tat's absolutely terrible. Hahaha...

Back to topic.. honeymoon. Let me ask you a question, where is your dream honeymoon then? I asked CL and she said Switzerland. Wow, if got money, of course I wish to be there too. I asked most of my friends, and they said Europe/London. Didn't know that my friends are all pretty freaking rich. Where will be my honeymoon then? China? Bukit Tinggi? Redang? Well...... Of course I wish for Italy, but money doesn't drop from sky that can just be easily picked up on the ground.
I have many places in mind, if money isn't the main factor, I will definitely go to Switzerland-Italy. Anyway, Justin promised that he will definitely bring me there one day. Hahaha... I will wait patiently tho!
So, this will be my honeymoon end of this year, 30th Dec at Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi. It is not cheap tho, nearly Rm600 for 2 nights just for the accomodation. But, since this is a honeymoon, so it's OKLA. Better stay in the room for 24 hours, make it worth. Hahaha. This is a French-theme Resort based on the Colmar Village in Alsace, France. Since I don't get to go Europe, so this shall be my so-called Europe honeymoon. Anyway, place isn't the matter, as long as my dearest person is with me, anywhere will be an awesome where.
Anymore honeymoon for me? Yesss!!! The honeymoon at Bukit Tinggi is just considered as a part-time small honeymoon. My massive honeymoon will be postponed to April 2009 because most of the departures for group travel ended on my wedding day, 27 Dec. How unlucky it is, but, if you look at the positive side, you still have time to save money for something big! We actually made an unforgivable mistake at Matta Fair. We signed up for a Beijing-Shanghai trip on 28 Dec, departure 1:40am with Reliance. Can you sense if there's anything fishy here? Yes, definitely something is wrong here. If departure is at 1:40am on 28 Dec, means that we have to arrive at the airport at 11:40pm, 27 Dec. And my wedding dinner is on 27 Dec, 7pm. Do you think we can make it??? Lolz, it will be a rushing wedding then and I will eventually go to the airport wearing my evening gown! What a joke. Hahaha... So, no choice, postponed!!
My next destination will be Japan, in April 2009. If money permits, Italy! Wahahaha... Anyway, Japan is somewhere that I'm eagerly looking forward to.

This is Universal Studios at Japan, a dream-filled Theme Park. Love it so much especialy with all the street scenes and popular characters!

Sakura started to bloom end of March depends on the weather. If it is cold, blossoms will open later. From year to year, the start of the blooming season can vary by as much as two weeks. April is just the perfect month for sakura!

Tokyo Disneyland!! I've been to Hong Kong Disneyland and the size cannot be compared to Tokyo Disneyland. I enjoyed myself at HK Disneyland, and I expect more at Tokyo Disneyland. There are seven themed areas, Made up of the World Bazaar, the four classic Disney lands: Adventureland, Westernland, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland and two mini lands, Critter Country and Mickey's Toontown. At HK Disneyland, there are only the classic Disneylands. So, I want more!!!!!!!!!

Time flies like a fly ~

It's already October! Oh ~ October... Soon will be November and I started to gan cheong already because when come to think bout it, there're still things that we yet to settle! I think that's true because the more I get myself busy, the more I gan cheong.. wahaha. So, relax and watch more movies. =) Wonder whether my cuzzie who will be getting married on 29 Dec 08 will feel the same too.. So sad, I cannot go to her wedding because of Chinese's believes of chung.. something like dat. Aiyo. I'll miss all the fun with my family members. And I'm extremely happy when my aunties uncles said they're coming. Tat's absolutely great!! They're willing to drive all the way down from Penang to Klang to witness our wedding!! Addicted to Incanto Shine ~

Thanks to Parkson Member's Day Sale that finally I got hold on this Incanto Shine perfume! Member's Day is actually one of the marketing strategy to catch ladies attention to shop for more and more. Whenever you shop till RM120, you will get RM10 voucher. Imagine after you got the voucher, you shop again, then you get voucher again, then you shop again.. So, it's an INFINITY CYCLE! Words alone just can't express how happy I am when I actually owned this. Hahaha... siao me.

Incanto Shine ~ Salvatore Ferragamo... Sweet smell for gorgeous lady.. Thanks to the Beautiful Women Conference at GFS Banting that we are Gorgeous everyday because God lives in us!!! We're all made in His likeness, that's great!
Inspired by sheer happiness, the pleasure of peace and harmony, and long walks at one with nature, this whimsical fragrance is a sunny blend of ripe fruits, fresh blossoms, warm woods, and soothing amber.

Oh ~ it must be the oh-so-girly bottle that catched my attention besides the crisp scent of this delicate fragrance! Ain't it lovely?? Infused with exotic fruit, freesia, and amber, one spritz will leave you feeling like a fair maiden walking barefoot in the woods.

Marketing strategy : Design is very important as nowadays, people always judge by the outward! Btw, because of design, I nearly fall into the trap of buying a lousy water heater for my home which is EURO UNO. It's like eventhough your product is silly lousy but have a good appearance, people might still buy it if their eyes are blinded.

And these were the free gifts that specially requested from the sales lady. So if your sales lady is a stingy poker, don't purchase anything from that outlet because you might miss out many freebies!!
