Marmalade @ Bangsar Village II

Year End is always the happiest thing because first of all, Christmas is arriving and then following with New Year, then Chinese New Year and that's it! All the wonderful events happen in the beginning of the year. How wonderful it is.... Before the HP closure from 18-31 Dec 09, the SS tower leads had a makan session together, appreciate one another for each other's support. How great to work in such a supporting environment. Thus, always give thanks to what you have now and stop feeling NOT ENOUGH with what you have now because no matter what is given to you, you will NEVER feel enough.

RootBir in Marmalade appears to be like this..... haha
Latte ~ ordered by Rakesh

Most of us ordered the Christmas set (RM39.90) which comes with:
Soup of the day ~ pumpkin soup
Main Course ~ Roasted turkey served with poached pumpkin & homemade gravy or Beef Stroganoff
Dessert ~ Steamed Chocolate Pudding
Drink ~ Root Beer

And we ordered this side dish ~ Avocado Accents, Roasted chicken cubes, peppers, avocado apples, etc over a bed of lettuce with zasty dressing. (RM17)
Rakesh order ~ Salmon fettucini...

From Left : Bala (our new TDM) and Rakesh
From Left : Adibah & Swee Yng

And Bala's lunch for the day ~ Lamb with rice. Very big portion and good for two... =D
And this turkey was from our christmas set. Unfortunately, the turkey meat smell was too strong that eventually, I passed half of this meal to Rakesh.
Chocolate Pudding ~ This was really yummy yummy....

Yen Fen and me...
Overall the food here is acceptable, not really many choices to choose. Few pages of menu and that's it. Good to try, good to hang out but I think I will only come back for the pumpkin soup and chocolate pudding. Out for the main course....

Guys go to work, Girls go to shopping!

I wonder if majority of the guys are like this when you bring them for shopping with you. Girls will be busy looking around for 50% or 70% sign and the guys will be busy searching for chairs or sofas, claiming their legs are tired. Girls will not feel tired if their mission is not accomplished, and guys, after walking maximum 4-5 shops, they started to yawn and then while you are busy choosing your shoes or busy digging shirts from a pool of 50% clothes, turn to the back and he's no longer behind of you but resting on the chair. LOL.
This is always my guy.... haha. Shopping is definitely not for him, and I've learnt the tactic now. So, everytime I go for shopping, I will shooo him away to MPH or Borders. Perfect! More freedom to grab stuffs and don't feel guilty grabbing too many. Wahahahaha....

And here are some Christmas pictures.... Christmas is still the most peaceful and enjoyable moment compared to Chinese New Year.
Wish everyone of you a Merry Christmas!! 1 more day to go before I'm officially off for my Christmas and New Year leaves... many plans are lingering in my head now. Am so happy!!!

Buffet ~ Japanese Restaurant Munakata @ Jalan Sultan Ismail

Pheww~ Uploading all these pictures were kinda of tough because there were so many of them! It has been a really long time since our last makan trip with makan gang. Such a nice name huh? Makan trip with makan gang... awesome people! The last makan trip that we had was at Restoran Tuck Fook, Kepong which I didn't blog about it. Oh why I can miss out blogging bout that? This time, thanks to Jessey for suggesting Japanese Restaurant Munakata at Jalan Sultan Ismail. Initially I dropped out the plan because I was kinda of budgeting for my China trip few days later, but hubby being always kind and generous, knew that I love to go and have fun with my friends, he decided to pay for my bill! How good was that when I heard it.... so nice. And then I quickly called Jessey and said I'm going! LOL.
Munakata Japanese restaurant is located at Jalan Sultan Ismail, inside the LIFE CENTRE building itself. The buffet dinner is RM70++ which adds up to RM77 nett inclusive of service charge and tax. Dinner time starts at 6:30pm and last order at 10:00pm.
