HP Team Outing @ Mid Valley City

HP environment is too good that everyone enjoys working here, adding on to the free breakfast and drinks. When I first joined HP, I still remember my team lead told me that you'll definitely put on weight after working here even if now you look skinny. Gosh, I told myself at that time that No, I'm not going to put on weight! Unfortunately, I failed to keep my words. How sad it is that I have to accept the fact I'm no longer wearing S size... =( So, I'm in dieting process now.. wish me luck then!!
Team outing this month will be at Kenny Rogers and Bowling Centre at Mid Valley City..

Banana and Chocolate muffins.. I just love Kenny Rogers muffins. Wonder why my home made muffins don't taste like this..

Quarter meal chicken with macaroni and cheese, mashed potato and potato salad...

Simon's banana boat....

Something great about Ikea...

Some of my friends are really gila over Ikea. I just wonder why.. To me, Ikea is just like another normal furniture shop with interior design, that's all! But, there's something in Ikea that me and Justin cannot miss. Haha.. What's dat??? Make a guess,.... it's foood!!!! The only delicious food there is the Swedish Meatballs... yummy yummy yummy.

10 meatballs for RM8.90 with fries. Do you think it's worth? Definitely not if you were to calculate the price of perpiece. Anyway, enjoy enjoy enjoy... hehe. Not to say I love to enjoy good food, but after one whole week cooking at home, even for lunch, why not treat myself a good wonderful meal not from my own sweat. Haha...

This was Today's Special... chicken chop. Nothing really special bout chicken chop, and this set worth RM6.90 (if I remember correctly) with a free mineral water.

Fried chicken wing, 5 pieces for RM9... Regret for ordering this, looks tempting, but tastes sucks because they were all cold wings. Chicken wing will be best consumed when it is hot and crispy. So, go mamak for chicken wings instead.

Accident Accident @ 19 August 2008

My workspace today is very strategic that I can actually monitor the traffic at Damansara Heights from time to time. I'm not sure what road or jalan is this, but this is at PBD or HELP University. Damanlela maybe... haha. I'm not sure, I'm pretty lousy at roads because I don't drive!! Hahahaha.... Not now, futurelah I will learn driving. My beloved friends and my dearest Justin.. stop bugging me k.. Hahaha. I promise I will drive around KL one day.. hehe. =P

On that day, I was busy replying emails and suddenly I heard brakes screech and then a crash. I looked thru the window and I saw broken tyre flying. I shouted, not too loud, still okla.. haha. Most of my colleagues surrounded behind my cubicle to see what happened after my scream. Suddenly so famous.. hahaha. Forgive me for a low quality pic because this was taken with my Treo. The road was half smooth, and the back half jam.. Stretch your eyes to the middle of the pic .. if you're not able to open wide your eyes.. then see the pics below.. 2x zoom pics.. hehe :)

Everyone in the office was busy with their daily chores, and here am I, busy with my photoshooting. Haha. How nice if earlier I'm enrolled in photography then I will have all the SLRs in hand. Nyways, thank God for what I am today!

This Green Myvi actually turned 180 degrees after knocking a proton wira aeroback. The driver, a lady, was shocked after the incident and did not get out from the car after the incident. She was then brought out by many good samaritans. Some even help her to drive her Myvi away to the side. After this incident, my advice is... drive slow and be like a tortoise if you can. Don't have to speed and be like a rabbit. If you love your husband/wife, then drive slowly!!

Have a safe journey everyone!!!!!!!

The miracle of green tea...

Today at office, I was kinda longing for Green Tea. I went downstairs to meet Justin for a box of green tea. Btw, we are working in the the same office, but different floors. Convenient rite... I felt that I should not drink for the sake of drinking, without knowing the real facts of drinking green tea.. so, I would like to google up for the benefits and blog it!! Hehehehe... It's like killing two birds with one stone!

This is my favorite Japanese Green Tea. Previously I bought BOH Green Tea and it sucks! I wanted to throw the whole box in the bin, but kinda wasteful. Today, scientific research in both Asia and the west is providing hard evidence for the health benefits long associated with drinking green tea. Popularity of Green tea in the United States continues to grow, showing that green tea is a natural source of antioxidants.

Green tea has many medical benefits, and is known for prevention of the following diseases: Cancer, Rheumatoid Arthritis, High Cholesterol, Cardiovascular Disease, Infection, and Impaired Immune Function.

Other benefits:
  • Promotes weight loss- the leaves of green tea plants help raise metabolism in the body.
  • Prevent bad breath- an element found in green tea decreases the growth of odor-causing bacteria.
  • Beauty remedy- green tea may be used to freshen up the face and sooth tired or strained eyes.
  • Antiseptic properties- Green tea is also known to treat minor cuts and rashes, and is an effective treatment for sunburn.
  • Green teas inhibit the expression of antigens made by the body, substances that can trigger an immune response.

To date, the only negative side effect reported from drinking green tea is insomnia due to the fact that it contains caffeine. However, green tea contains less caffeine than coffee: there are approximately thirty to sixty mg. of caffeine in six - eight ounces of tea, compared to over one-hundred mg. in eight ounces of coffee.

Full House @ NiuZeXui, Ara Damansara

I didn't notice that NZX actually exists until one fine day, my colleagues decided to hang out here for dinner. Maybe I can say that this is the 2nd The Curve bazaar?? Except for a proper stall with air conditioning.. (:

6:45pm... We were actually waiting for our big boss aka YAB to arrive...

The sky turned darker and yet our YAB were still on his way from far far land...

The sky beccame darker and darker and darker.... Who ever knows that our YAB finally arrived at 8pm... and, we waited for him since 6:45pm with a grudging stomach, adding on to the sweet aroma from Big Apple next door. Who can actually resists the temptation to just grab a bite of Big Apple as appetizer..

Finally.... this is FULLHOUSE. Have you ever watched the Korean drama named FullHouse? The drama was funny and awesome, and I can just dream off staying in that big house! This reminds me of the show "Wo yao jia gei you qian ren/ I want to marry a rich man". Recently, I'm really into Korean and Taiwan dramas. Gila me, searching everywhere for nice dramas and of course with ENGLISH SUBTITLES! How I ever wished I have good mandarin knowledge, 10/10... wasted! Else, I can watch many many nice Chinese dramas...
Anyway, back to foooodd..

The wonderful cafe, you can actually purchase the display items...

Me and Yen Fen posing on the mini cooper... :)

Yen Fen's chicken rendang... yummy yummy. She's the loyal customer to FullHouse, guess the boss should reward her with some discounts due to her effort of promoting this place to her bunch of friends!

Wok-Sear Chicken Chop ~ Order the set meal, "Tony's Favorite Meal" as it is more worth than ala carte!

We supposed to get ice cream as dessert, and the waiter told us that the "Ice cream..water".. "Ice Cream water...". Huh? What do you mean by "Ice cream... water?". Finally, we managed to understand that he was trying to say that the ice cream has melted. Lolz.. we were all laughing out loud at that time. Then, we asked, what you will replace then? He continued, "Iced Cake".. "Iced Cake... very nice.. very nice" Huh??? Iced cake? In my mind was like, wow, ice cream cake.. not bad. Ok, fine.... give us "Iced Cake" then....
Who knows that the Iced Cake he mentioned were TARTS!!!!!!!!!!! Lolz.....
