We're going for a road trip!

I need a vacation so badly that I feel upset over it every time I think of the fun of packing and setting Out of Office and then fly. To help myself feel better, I would consistently remind myself that better save money for Ashlynn's college and let her bank account overflow. But, when I saw my friends were so busy flying in and out of the country, I feel like my heart couldn't contain anymore waiting! I'm screaming for a holiday!! *that was why sometimes I hate Facebook* I NEED a vacation! I NEED to stay in a hotel! Call me a spoil wife/mom, but I really need ONE holiday. Only One, I didn't ask for two or more. =D

And finally, we decided to go on a road trip! Only two hours of journey from KL and we will be staying at Equatorial! It will be so much of fun bringing Ashlynn to the baby pool for the very first time, indulge in the kicking buffet breakfast, line up for the famous chicken rice ball, nyonya laksa and durian cendol and to end the day with the 3 of us chilling on the King size bed! It's gonna be an exciting 3 days 2 nights holiday, our very FIRST family trip!

I'm so excited, eventhough it's just a local trip, but I'm happy because this time round, we are going as a family of THREE! No longer the two of us, but a baby is joining us! Can't wait................ XD

I've listed out the things to bring, and I will use this list whenever we go for holidays because I couldn't afford to miss out any single thing that has to do with our baby.

Baby:
=====
  • Shower Gel
  • Lotion
  • Mozzie Clear Lotion
  • First Aid Lotion
  • Diaper Cream
  • Tummy Balm
  • Baby Wipe/Cotton
  • Thermometer
  • Toys
  • Clothes (Romper, dress, pyjamas, long pants, socks, bibs, towels, napkins, hat)
  • Float for swimming
  • Diapers
  • Bath Tub
  • Panadol Syrup
  • Cereals/Puree/Milk powder/Snacks
  • Milk bottles
  • Thermos
  • Kettle to boil water ( I don't like to use hotel's kettle =p)
Papa & Mama :
============
  • Clothes/Towels
  • Swim suit
  • Panadol
  • Facial Cleanser/Toner/Moisturizer/Comb
  • Toothbrush/Toothpaste
  • Contact lens/Spec (only for mommy)
  • Camera
  • Phone/Camera charger
I never learn to travel light. Everything in the house seems to be so useful and I would dump almost everything in the luggage. No joke on the amount of baby things that you need to bring. And that explains why sometimes most of the time I'm just so lazy to go anywhere, I would rather stay at home because when I think of the packing, I get a nightmare.

I'm excited!! =D

Don't know what to cook for your baby/toddler?

Squeezing your brain for creativity on baby food?

Don't know what to cook?

Lack of ideas?

Let me introduce one easy and interesting and healthy food!

Vegetable Alphabets!!

I'm thrilled when I saw this in Jusco, checked the ingredients, checked the price and without thinking twice, I grabbed the item and dumped into the trolley. Looks like I'm the one that is more excited than Ashlynn.

I'm seriously bored, cooking the same porridge over and over again. Ashlynn is in the same situation. Her porridge is always the same color, same texture and I can sense that she's bored! I only managed to feed her few spoons and then she lost interest in her food, she kept the food in her mouth, and close her mouth tight.... I can only force it open by offering her some water/toys. She's a growing baby and she knows more "defense skills". If she dislikes some things, she swings her hands left and right and push the item away. My growing baby.....................

Can't wait to cook this, even though she doesn't know ABC for now, but at least it's something different?
Different texture, different color... hope she's interested! =D

I think every mommy loves it when you see how much your baby loves her food? Haha!
