Restoran Ho Choong Tuck @ Damansara Uptown

Anyone knows where to get good dimsum in PJ? Everytime we passed by Uptown, this restaurant is always full house. It might be good, otherwise there won't be so many people there. The last time I had dimsum was with Canny at Bkt Jalil. The dimsum there was really good, I love it especially the ji wo kai (I dunno wat it's called in eng) but the distance is kinda far.
One morning, woke up as early as 9am =P just for the sake of eating dimsum. If not because of dimsum, I will still be lying on the bed or busy surfing.

Didn't know that Kampung Koh's chilli sauce is so famous here! Kampung Koh is at Sitiawan, few kms away from my house! At least I can still see some Sitiawan stuffs here!

Hubby's favourite! As usual rite...... haha. Last time I don't really know/like to eat this because of the meaty taste, but now... I can accept it! The next thing to learn is to love drumstick instead of chicken breast. Haha...

Overall, the dimsum here is good and I really miss the one at Butterworth. Everytime when I visit my grandma, I will definitely ask her if wanna go for dimsum the next morning. And she being so sporting, she asked my 5th aunt to join along. I miss them so much..... can't wait to see them again, hopefully in Dec! =D

The Spaghetti Farm - Wholesome Italian Food @ MidValley

I think this was a newly opened restaurant in MidValley. Midvalley is always known as my territory as I used and liked to shop there. Haha. I'm bored and tired of cooking for lunch and bring to office, thus I told hubby let's go to Midvalley for lunch instead. There are many set lunches out there for us to choose. Initially we wanted to go to Italiannies for the set lunch, but The Gardens in Italiannies does not offer the set lunch. So, we looked around for banners saying SET LUNCH PROMOTION. Unfortunately, most of them are not ngam. We walked around Kenny Rogers area and then we saw this "The Spaghetti Farm". Sound interesting, look interesting, and most importantly, does it taste interesting?
Since my hubby is now Italian and not Malaysian, he decided to try this!

Mushroom soup ~ Order any spaghetti and add on RM3.20 for free mushroom soup and carbonated drinks. So, we chose mushroom soup. There are four choices of soup for you to choose : chicken soup, mushroom soup, asparagus soup, tomato soup. Choose your favorite!

The nice drawing... the chicken looks so real. Haha.

The environment in the restaurant.

I ordered this : Carbonara turkey ham worth RM9.80 + RM3.20 (for soup and drinks).

Hubby ordered this : Farmhouse! Worth RM8.80 and add RM3.20 for mushroom soup and drinks.
Extra flavor to the dish.... hubby thought this is tomato powder! When he sprinkles and brought over to me for photoshooting, I nearly ha-chiew! It is chilli powder! LOL ! From tomato to spicy spaghetti. Luckily it's not that really spicy... otherwise, tomyam spaghetti. Haha...

The total bill for the day.. RM25 for our lunch.

Gogung Fushion Restaurant by Koryo-Won @ The Gardens

It has been really long since I last had Korean food. The Korean ginseng chicken soup that we had in Korea in year 2005 was still so fresh in my memory. I just couldn't forget the awesome taste of the ginseng chicken soup. Half chicken boiled with ginseng, added on with some Korean mee & rice which you can't get anywhere in Malaysia. If I were to go back Korea again, I will definitely not miss the Korean ginseng soup.
Last Sat we spent time window shopping and then lunch at The Gardens. As usual, when it comes to lunch time, the same question will always be asked, "What you would like to eat?". Finally, we opt for Taiwan food and decided to go to Fong Lye at The Gardens. It's always full house, no matter what time it is. And the queue on the sofa is already long, so... don't want to wait! Then, we decided to have Thai food which is just opposite of Fong Lye, but we would need to go to ladies first. So, on the way to ladies, while waiting for the girls.. hubby saw Korean restaurant! And he looked at the menu, the dishes and he forgot to look at the PRICE! So, we decided to try this Korean food.... and went in without looking at the price!
The stove for BBQ....

The ventilator at every table to suck the oily smoke when BBQ. Quite smart... if you're staying in condo and plan to have BBQ in the kitchen just like this, don't forget to get this! This ventilator can be adjusted, you can choose to make it very low or high. Quite interesting as this was the first time I saw this in a restaurant, LOL. Usually restaurant just don't care to fix this and let you soak with oil.

The cover was opened and here is the place you're going to grill....

My mom in law and Linda....

The environment in the restaurant.......

Look at all the free side dishes..... Learn from mistake, choose a bigger table! Not a just nice table yeah if you plan to dine here. We barely have place to put our stuffs.

The waiter will do all the grilling, so you just sit down and watch. And then eat!
Mo Dum Kui (RM190, for 2-3 persons) ~ Smoked charbroiled assorted beef, chicken, prawn, cuttlefish marinated with Go-Gung special BBQ recipe.

Busy grilling..... after this meal, we went to Jusco and bought a grilling pan. Wanted to get TEFAL but it's darn expensive. RM330 for one grilling pan. LOL, I'm not any high recognized chef and I don't need that expensive pan. So, we looked around and found ENDO brand which cost only RM69.90. At least, it's more worth it! Thanks for showing us how to grill!

Look at how they grill, onion in the middle, beef on the left and chicken on the right. After the beef is cooked, they will place the beef on top of the onion and the taste of the onion will soak into the beef for the onion aroma. Smart! And the waiter is so good at grilling that even it's cooked, the meat is so tender and soft and juicy. As usual, hubby loves this!

Kim Chi Jeon Gol (Small for RM75 and big for RM85) ~ Beef or chicken kimchi served with vegetables and noodles in spicy soup. It actually came in a pot but our table is too small and can no longer fit any extra pots... so, the waiter distributed the soup into smaller bowls. Due to this, I don't get to take picture of the spicy soup pot!! =(

Finally, the total bill appeared to be this! Gosh ~
Overall, the food here is delicious and hubby said he will go back there once a year! Hahaha....

Am loving the new home look!

How do you describe home?? Home is always the best place to be after a long day outside working or shopping or outing. A place where you can be yourself, so transparent and care less on what other thinks.. if and only you have a rather loving family. I love my home!! I don't really like to stay in rented house because the house is not mine and I don't want to waste money decorating and buying stuffs for the house which is not mine. I just love the art of shopping and decorating and cleaning. If you have your own home, IKEA will just be the perfect place for home shopping and also to steal some home deco idea! I like shopping at IKEA because of their concept : SPACE SAVING CONCEPT! A very good concept for condo-ians. Most of their things are stucked to the wall, if you notice from left to right, which saves up a lot of space!
Our desktop PC has finally arrived, filled with Windows 7 and thus, we intended to build our little home office. An office table with office chair!! So, this was our shopping list. MIKAEL table with glass on top worth RM339 and an office chair (ALLAK) worth RM339 as well. When I first sat on this display chair in IKEA, it was so comfortable and I just didn't want to get up! I asked hubby to try on that chair and worst still, he was closing his eyes, enjoying as if it will be his 2nd bed if he's forced to sleep outside. LOL.

Serving another IKEA Customer ~ Unfortunately the table was a little bit long and couldn't fit in our car. No choice, had to call for delivery which ate up our RM65. *sobbing*... Since we needed them to deliver, we requested for fixing as well which cost 5% of your total receipt. Finally, we spent RM776.90! Sigh, I thought next month I will be debt free, but somehow somewhere there are just things to buy and pay. Anyway, I would rather spend more on IKEA items rather than I get them in JUSCO/CAREFOUR. The quality is so much more better, a more solid wood and I wouldn't want to use a table that cracks 6 months later.

The IKEA guy fixing our ALLAK chair.... my favorite chair now! And it's so comfortable compared to the one I have in office...

Building Lego ~ MIKAEL office table........ Since there are new things in the house, our Sunday was spent on tidying, cleaning and rearranging our stuffs. See if you love our new home look!! And truly..... I love this home more than anything else! A home that I can find love, support, and it's so relaxing and warm!
Our new little home office ~ Just incase we need to work from home. This will be a very good place. The ALLAK chair indeed can absorb all your stresses because you might just fall asleep anytime! ;p

Next to the mini home office, there's my collection of bears.... Koala, kangaroo, penguin, snoopy, Paddington bear, and Kiwi all the way from New Zealand, Australia, Watson & Guardian.

Rearranging our exercise machine, sofa, Billy bookshelf, TV Cabinet & Po Ang. Looks better like this? At least the exercise machine does not block the walkway.

While exercising, you can watch TV so that you will not feel the tiredness or pain while cycling. More calories will be burnt this way..

And our bookshelf.... 50% bookshelf & 50% display shelf. =)

And suddenly I thought of the idea of decorating the aircond pipe with some bears! Again.. bears! These bears were bought from Australia, 4 for 10aus. Cheap?

We placed a desktop next to the TV and the purpose is to watch downloaded movies/dramas on the TV instead of monitor. Got our Edifier speaker next to it as well.

The vertical look .....

And this will be hubby's mini studio. Only one speaker as the other half is still in Banting, not sure when he wants to bring back the other half. Pity the single lonely speaker. And my guitar that I bought 2 years back. That time I was so semangat to learn guitar, but it's hangat hangat tahi ayam only. Till now, I can only strum. LOL. So, now it belongs to hubby.
And lastly, the view few steps from the entrance! So wonderful when you have a home with warm light. Guess I will be staying at home very often now.... =)

Chee Wee & Alice Wedding at Renaissance, KL

Chee Wee and Alice tied the knot on 7 November 2009 at Renaissance Hotel. Congrates to both of them!! Let God's blessings flow tremendously in their life and they shall be the light and salt to other going-to-get-married couples! =)
Renaissance hotel is such a beautiful place.... filled with so many romantic lights that perfectly lights up the whole hall.

The stairs on the way to Grand Ballroom....

Wedding album....

Ice Sculpture.....

Do you know why this little girl is in the list of photos? Cause I like her dress!!! LOL! Sweet sweet pinky dress!

The menu for the day... the one that I'm looking forward to is the shark's fin... =D

Wedding favor by Renaissance...

Both of them love photography? I think so.....

The INTI's gang.... all of them are hubby's kakis.

No picture for shark's fin.. but vege.

Crab mee....

Dessert! When I looked at this, I remembered the story shared by James; "Maggie soup tak mahu jari". Hahaha...

Unfortunately I did not have much to blog because they were all hubby's friends. But, I would like to wish both of them a very blissful marriage and greater days ahead of them, walking in the light of God! God bless them with multiplications & prosperity & health & etc..... =)
