Simple BBQ Ribs- Recipe

This recipe looks simple rite... shall try it when I'm back. Marinade overnight and ready to cook the next day!!! Yohooo.... =)

INGREDIENTS2 1/2 pounds country style pork ribs
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons salt
1 cup barbeque sauce

DIRECTIONS
Place ribs in a large pot with enough water to cover. Season with garlic powder, black pepper and salt. Bring water to a boil, and cook ribs until tender.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
Remove ribs from pot, and place them in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour barbeque sauce over ribs. Cover dish with aluminum foil, and bake in the preheated oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, or until internal temperature of pork has reached 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).

Pretty simple steps..

Tips :
I always add a generous amount of garlic powder, ground pepper and 1 onion cut into wedges. My secret ingredient is to add a good amount of soy sauce 1/2-1 C approx. Boil for 45 mins-1 hour. Turn off heat, cover pan and let ribs marinate in the broth for several hours (I have let them sit for 4-5 hours). Great to put in the oven especially during the winter months, but best on the grill. If you want to make ahead put cooled ribs into plastic bag and add enough BBQ sauce to coat well. Refrigerate until ready to use and then cook with additional sauce.
