Mark 12:29-31
29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. 30 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’[a] This is the first commandment.[b] 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[c] There is no other commandment greater than these.”

The operative verb found in these 2 verse is the word love.
To Jesus, these 2 verses ought to be the guiding principles of our lives - His life-verses!

- It is a journey that pursues a genuine love relationship with God.To grow in our love for God, we need to learn to make time and make space for Him.
- This inward journey is also the working out for faith and trust in Him.
- It is only when we are strong on the inside that we can go far on the outside.
- Our attitude determines our altitude.
