DISCUSSION AT THE HEAVENLY COURTYARD‏

GOD: Angels, do you know what I was just thinking about?

ANGELS: What were you thinking about?

GOD: Christians seem to have forgotten what kind of power they have and the devil keeps on deceiving them!

ANGELS: God, exactly what are you driving at?

GOD : I have made my children in such a way that when the people of the world are sitting, they would be standing, when the world is standing, they will stand out, when the world stands out, my children must be outstanding and when the devil dares the world to be outstanding, my people will be the standards to be used!

JESUS CHRIST: They (Christians) are also forgetting the words in Ephesians 1:3.

GOD: Please read it out!

ANGELS: PRAISE BE TO THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST , WHO HAS BLESSED US IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES WITH EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING IN CHRIST .

ANGELS: So what do we do now since the end is almost near ?

HOLY SPIRIT: My Presence is still among men and I will teach and remind the Christians of all that we have discussed.

JESUS CHRIST: I will also keep on interceding for them and stand in for them even in their weaknesses.

GOD: I will also make sure that I give to all those who ask of me, seek me and try to find me . The blessings I have promised them through my son Jesus Christ will be delivered to all those who discover that I, Jehovah, I am ready to bless them! Not because of any special things that they have done, but just because I LOVE THEM !

JESUS CHRIST: I will also give all my followers enough strength to carry on! They can do all things through Christ who strengthens them!!

ANGELS: We are all backing GOD and even the devil cannot stop us! How funny! Christians are finally taking over and .......
DEVIL (eavesdropping behind the gates): I hope you all heard! I will deploy more troops (demons) and make sure the Christians pray less, read their Bibles less, preach less...

YOU SURE HEARD THAT! THE DEVIL WILL MAKE SURE YOU ARE DEFEATED BUT PROVE HIM WRONG AND SHOW HIM THE POWER YOU HAVE IN CHRIST JESUS AS A CHRISTIAN. PRAY MORE, STUDY THE WORD MORE AND PREACH THE WORD! BE GOD'S COMRADES!

The Brick

A young and successful executive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something. As his car passed, no children appeared . Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door! He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown.

The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting, 'What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?'

The young boy was apologetic. 'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the brick because no one else would stop...'

With tears dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just around a parked car. 'It's my brother, 'he said. 'He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him up.'

Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help me to get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me.'

Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay.
'Thank you and may God bless you,' the grateful child told the stranger. Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home.

It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message: 'Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!'

God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's our choice to listen or not.

Steamboat Steamboat!!!

Hehe, just can't believe that I'm eating steamboat again this weekend. Last week I went to Korean Buffet and it was all about steamboat. And today, steamboat again! Gosh! This time, I had home made steamboat with Chih Lih, Lay Ling and me. After we went to 1Utama for Chinese New Year shopping, then we decided to make our own steamboat!! Ehehe...


The super delicious DELI Bo's fishballs, KAMI crabsticks, Ayamas meatballs, chicken fillet, JENANAK fish fillet, prawns, sotongs, bitter gourd, crabs, sausages, mushrooms, veges....yummy yummy. Kinda cheap skate, using rice cooker as steamboat pot. Haha, next time I shall get one .. ehe :P


Wow, mouth watering food rite.. Do you think it's spicy and really great THAI tomyum?? Wahaha..


The three of us, good friends from TAR College till now! Friends forever!!! Well, let's save money and we go China yea. The only country that we can afford. Haha...
Chiaoz.. see you all sooon!!!! Please don't get so busy until no time to meet yea.. ehehehe :P

Sunday; day of paktoring..

Today was such an enjoyable day. It has been ages since we last paktoring, went out for movie, makan and shopping (shop for vege..haha). We had two movies in a day, National Treasure 2 and Alien VS Predator 2. You might think we were crazy or winning loteri until we watched two movies in a day. In fact... please refer to the picture below. Look carefully and take note on the price for AVP2. Can you see that it is RM0.00? Which means we pay zero sen for the second movie.. wahaha. The AVP2 tickets were complimentary tickets given by Yuen Chi (my ex-boss). Thank you sooo much!!



After National Treasure 2, the next movie will be at 5pm. Then we planned to walk around, wasting time and looking for Maxis prepaid card. Guess wat, I can't find any shops that sell Maxis prepaid card at 1 Utama. Really surprising! Such a big shopping complex and Maxis are sold widely outside and not in 1 Utama. Lolz.. In fact DIGI is available everywhere. Maxis too laku until out of stock kah??? Then I passed by VAULT which sells all sorts of earrings, bracelets, anklets, necklaces... 4 for RM10 for all the earrings. Cheap cheap.. Since I lost one side of my earing yesterday, I shall get new pairs now! Ehehehe...

After AVP2 *I fell asleep in the cinema*, we went to Laksa Shack for dinner. Wow, Laksa Shack cost bout RM9.90 per bowl. Last time was only RM7.90.. Oh no, everything was increasing except my $$$$How to survive ler??!

Korean Buffet at Plaza Pantai

As for the last quarter for year 2007, our team outing was finally confirmed at SEOUL, Plaza Pantai. In my mind, wow, SEOUL...how is it like? Normal restaurant? Lots of Korean food? I love Korean food soo much.. especially the BBQ beef in Korea. Really yummylicious!!! However, I was kinda disappointed yesterday when I realised that SEOUL is all about YONG TAO FOO. Just that the name is SEOUL to tipu people I guess. Well, definitely I won't pay a 2nd visit here.

(Yuen Chi was totally surprised that I caught her in action!!! Hahaha... She can pose well without 1,2,3..ehe.)

Revelation 3:8
8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

The word relevant means connected with the matter at hand.

God is the vertical relationship that we draw strength from to love, and serve those around us - our horizontal relationship.

Revelation 3:7-13
THE FAITHFUL CHURCH
7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: 8 “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. 12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. The message does not change, but the methods do.

The key here is balance.

A sin is a sin.

To preach sin as if it is not our fault, blame it on the devil and that it is a human weakness is to discredit the Word of God.

James 1:14
14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.
Romans 3:23
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

God is a God of love. But He is alaso a God of justice.

Romans 6:23
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Never sacrifice truth for relevant.

HOW TO BUILD A RELEVANT CHURCH?

1. Be who we are.
Remain as yourself and don't try to be somebody else. Appreciate the way God has created you. Our influence is our nature. We are stronger when we do what we are meant to do.

Proverbs 30:28
28 The spider skillfully grasps with its hands,
And it is in kings’ palaces.

Focusing on who we are will make our church more relevant to the society.

2. Practice our expression of faith boldly.
Through some areas of the church service can be compromised, the message must remain.

IN CITY HARVEST :

1. We pray in tongues a lot.
   1 Corinthians 14:14
   14 For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.
2. We have both loud and soft music.
3. We preach the Word of God uncompromisingly
4. We discipline and disciple.

HP GCM KICKOFF 08 at Renaissance

Food and food.. who that does not love food?? Everyone does love good food rite. HP GCM Kickoff 08 was held at Renaissance. It took us huge braveness to drive all the way from HP Towers to Renaissance which is located at Jalan Sultan Ismail. Me, Chen Lai (driver), and Yen Fen were in one car and Edwin (driver), KC and Siong Khing were in another car. After lots of wrong turning at Jalan Parlimen to Jalan Sultan Ismail and added up to all the cities jam, we finally reached Renaissance around 6.50pm. Fuuh, we were still early for dress up, make up and registration..kekekeke.

This hall was filled with 650 HP mates and the first game was screened.

Gosh, how to recognize people by their eyes? We don't even have the chance to really personally eye to eye with those people and how would we know? And this game was finally won by Andrew Jacob's table!

The tremendous people-filled hall! Renaissance ballroom really caught my eyes and how nice if my wedding could be held at this place! Wahaha.. (hint hint Justin..hahahaha. Dun faint yea, just joking) ^_^

And this is Richard speaking, our head of GCM replacing Mr Francis Ng.

He was a real footballer player before he joined HP. Great!!

And it's time for food! The yummy salmon, grilled chicken, muscles.... This plate belongs to Edwin!! He loves food.. hehehe.

And this is mine with lots of mushroomss.. wahaha. Yummy yummy..

Owner = Yen Fen...So, when you look at this picture, u will know that she loves this food!!

Chen Lai's properties.. Don't ever try to compare guy's portion with girls! Guys are always the champion for food. =P

After the main dish, there will always be dessert.. I still prefer the dessert than the main dishes. Which means I love fattening food.. hahaha.

Slurpsssss!!!!! That's all I can say!!!!

This is strawberry and berries dessert but it's too sour.. :)

Both of them were seriously enjoying every seconds at Renaissance.. ehehehe.

After dinner, get ready for Super Draw.. those ppl selected were all orang besar in HP. Are they going to receive token of appreciations?? Let's see...

They were enjoying the show.. especially KC. wahhhaa..

And these people on stage were all the orang besar selected from Super Draw. Even our managers can be funny also.. :P So, there's always time for seriousness and time for fun! Really a funny sketch..

Finally, our hope for Sony Bravia 40`LCD TV did not come true. Which means we do not have luck *sigh*. But, me, KC and Siong Khing won a RM50 Jusco voucher in the first round of the lucky draw.. At least larhh.. haha. Don't be sooo tamak.. ehehe. It's time to go home after the Sony LCD TV was grabbed by someone else.. :(

SHOPPING SHOPPING!!!

Mega Sales is back with a BANG!!! Honestly, I really miss shopping!!! Last time, when I'm not bond to anything, I was a real shopperholic and always make sure that I'm not empty handed when I reached home. But now.. sad case. Too many debts to pay off and I seriously do not have time and money to shop!!! Priority still comes to my new home in Wangsa Maju (RM700 per month), groceries, self enjoyment (means makan) and the list goes on.. After minus all the so called debts, I left with few hundreds for makan which means I can totally forget bout shopping! Don't forget bout savings... +_+

Well, I'm always happy when Chinese New Year is approaching because I have a reason to SHOP!! Wahaha... Which means I shop with a purpose? (=_="). Last week, I went to The Curve, looking for new dress/skirt/blouse for CNY. I'm just wondering.. is my Mathematics getting worst?? I used to score A during my secondary school and now.. what happened to my Maths? Even simple peratus also I sudah tak tahu buat kah?? Ok.. let's do this simple calculation.

If a skirt worth RM89.90 and has 70% discount. How much should I pay for it?

Well, the answer is RM26.97 rite? And I'm wondering how come I was told to pay only RM19.90 for the skirt? My Math's problem? Guess not.. haha. It was a real joke whereby the cashier took RM89.90 and minus RM70. Perhaps she thought that 70% should be calculated that way. Gosh, imagine if there are 100 customers buying with 70% or 50% or watsoever? Oh No.. I can't stop laughing when I looked at the receipt.. Too bad, I threw the receipt away, else I can show you guys. Hehehe.. Conclusion, I walked away with a RM19.90 skirt from P&Co....

which means.. shopppp more!!!!! Hehehehe...

29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. 30 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’[a] This is the first commandment.[b] 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’[c] There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Do you have a life-verse or life-verses today?

Life-verse is certain/some verses that you hold on to. You can get a life verse by studying the Scripture and not from any resources.

Deuteronomy 6:4-54
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one![a] 5 You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Leviticus 19:1818
You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

The operative verb found in these 2 verse is the word love.

To Jesus, these 2 verses ought to be the guiding principles of our lives - His life-verses!

LOVING GOD WITH PASSION, LOVING PEOPLE WITH COMPASSION.

1) The inward Journey

• It is a journey that pursues a genuine love relationship with God.To grow in our love for God, we need to learn to make time and make space for Him.
• This inward journey is also the working out for faith and trust in Him.

2) The outward journey

• It is only when we are strong on the inside that we can go far on the outside.
• Our attitude determines our altitude.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
Building a strong Bible-believing, Spirit-filled city church where every member is trained to love God with passion and equipped to love people with compassion.

Year 2008 - Abundance Year, Year of Reaping and Harvesting!

As 2008 is now here in reality, let us shout for joy because we live until today! Therefore, forget the past and move forward looking for a much more better year ahead! Do not regret over what has already been done. Let the past to be the past. Seize the coming year with faith and courage. Plan your calendar well, and make full use of each new day that God has blessed us with.

In year 2008, make sure that you are 10 steps closer to what you desire to be compared to last year. If last year you were 10 miles away from what you wanted to be, be sure that this year, you move 10 miles ahead! Remember that a soldier is always a loyal soldier. No matter what circumstances are coming ahead of them, they never retreat, yet they continue to march forward just for the sake of their nations. Thus, be like a soldier that never retreat. March forward, carrying all the weapons of faith that God has given to you and then fight for the abundance! If once you fall, get up!! If any parts of your body bleed, cover the wound and get up again! Let God to be your source of life and hope!

Well, the picture below was what I managed to capture from the window of my apartment. Not bad rite, captured using my LUMIX FX01. After Justin got his Digital SLR, perhaps we could have a better photo.. ehe. When you wanna buy, Justin??? I also wanna use.. hehehehe.

And note that, Prosperity Burger is out in McDonalds. If you wanna be prosper in Year 2008, just eat as much Prosperity Burger as you can! The more you eat, the more prosper you will be!! Wahahaha.. The fact is, the more you eat Prosperity Burger, the more money you spend and the more broke you will be. So, if wanna be prosper, remember to build a house on the rock, and not on the sand so that when strong wave come, your house will still remain strong.

Prosperity Burger is just sooo delicious.. the crispy onion ring too. Yummy Yummy~~

Finally, just wanna show you my fish tank which I've just bought. Suddenly semangat to rear fish.. hahaha. Since young, I love to rear fish and I still remember the old days when me and my grandma cycled all the way to fish safari to buy fish. That time I was so sad because all my fishes died when I came back from school. Then to cheer me up, my grandma (stayed with me for few months because my mom went to kursus in Ipoh) said, "Come, let's cycle to the fish shop to get new fishes!". When I heard that, I was like, grandma.. thank you sooo much!!!

So, this is my fish tank with all the lovely guppies..bla bla bla. I mix all sorts of fish inside until I realised that there was a great bully in the aquarium! It is George, the great bully!! I named it George because......... (ask me why because it is P&C). George just loves to chase other smaller fishes merely because it can swim fast (tak perlulah that proud until bully the others). Sometimes make me stress when I see all my other lovely fishes were chased by George. Terukla you!!! When George is around, all the other fishes were scared and hid behind of him. Until one day, I cannot tahan and I grabbed the fishing net. Gone case la you.. It took me bout 1 hour to catch George! Ahdui... and

FINALLY!!!!! Hope you like your new home, George! Too bad, no more friends for you to show your greatness!! Wahahaha...Justin lagi teruk, say wanna throw it to the swimming pool. Hahaha...

Ho Ho Ho!! I love my new aquarium. All the fishes swim freedomly, gracefully... haha. Sometimes I can even sit in front of my aquarium for minutes to watch all my lovely fishes.. hehehe..

Last but not least.. Happy New Year to all of you!

Have a great year and make sure that you have a list of what you desire to do and you want it to come true! Be sure you have a list that is according to God's will!!
