Happy BurpDay Mr Justin!

Happy Birthday to Mr Justin and here I would like to express out 10 good reasons why he is always a darling husband to me!

1) He helps in housework! How many guys actually help the wife to clean the house, do the laundry, sweep & mop the floor, prepare dishes and etc....
2) One call and he always attend to me.... and he never fails to bring me a cup of water whenever I'm enjoying myself on the sofa watching my favorite movie! Not only a cup of water, sometimes added ribena in it. Awesome!
3) He can cook!!! Whenever I'm lazy, I will throw the cooking task to him and surprisingly, he managed them well! Guys are always good in experimenting and he added this and that, and it turned out to be so good! Especially the fried egg with sesame oil...
4) He's a good listener! I always complain to him about this and that, he never added salt and pepper to it but he's just so positive and optimistic and asked me to relax. Sometimes I still prefer he joined me in the complaining.. but, thank God he didn't. Imagine wife complain + husband complain = ???? ... Hahaha.
5) Sometimes he attend to my not-urgent/unnecessary needs! Girls always love shopping and he never fails to say "No, don't buy" or "You got so many clothes, some never wear also" or "Wardrobe cannot fit liau" but he will just say Buy Larh.. The more he say buy lar, the more I feel guilty. In the end, I didn't buy.. Guys, learn this technique. Haha... But sometimes, I do. hehe. I've not been shopping for 3mths I think... miss the moment. But I don't need so many clothes.
6) He drives me to office! Especially when I'm working night, he will sacrifice his time and drive all the way to my office and pick me up. How wonderful it is.... =) I only know a few husband/bf that will do that. Not all..... Right?
7) He's happy-go-lucky man! I seldom see him showing his papaya long sour face or raising up his voice and all these only happens once in a while. Once in a blue moon he does that.. and it is GOOD! We are human anyways, but some humans throw tantrums everyday... but him, i think once a year. Hahaha.....
8) He works hard for the family! He's always good at work and never see him complain Monday blue or whatsoever.... and this gives me the ease of mind. If only next time I don't have to work. Muahahaha.
9) He loves travel + food just like me!!! =D
10) He serves God! Everything will be in tip top condition because the family serve a good God! Deuteronomony 13:4 "It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him."

Celebrated at Sushi Zanmai, we've been missing this since we moved over to WM.

Unagi Nasu Gyoza ~ fried egg plant dumpling topped with roasted eel

Macha Monaka ~ green tea wafer ice cream with red bean.

Hope you enjoy your birthday!!! Muacks.....

Kura Japanese Restaurant @ One World Hotel

Happy Birthday to Ivan and my MIL, Ps Vic, Sis Anusha, Kristen came all the way from Banting to celebrate his wonderful birthday. Ivan chose Kura Japanese Restaurant and I didn't know it exists in One World Hotel.

Sis Anusha & Kristen...

Very nice "massaged-beef".. If you're not a beef lover like me, you can't stand the smell of beef, or you don't like chewing beef, then you will be surprised that you can take this meal! But, it's expensive!! Delicious..... few slices and it cost about RM60 (if I remember correctly)
0.0 (rolling eyeballs wide)

Tempura!

Special chawan mushi which cost RM20 per cup... extremely good and highly recommended!! Chawan mushi which tastes and looks like shark's fin... =D

Unagi ...

And finally, hot pot! My favourite...... yummy yummy soup!
The food here is kinda pricey, a little higher than Sushi Zanmai but I think if you have the budget and do not know where to spend, here could be the place to dine in. Otherwise, Sushi Zanmai will do. Good enough to satisfy your soul and mind ... cheers~

Cameron Highlands @ Pahang, Malaysia!

The last visit to Cameron was when I aged 10+ I think.. And at that time I was still young and couldn't really remember how it looks like, where did I go and so on.. so this will be the 2nd trip to Cameron! Anak Malaysia kononnya rite.. haha.

The free hotel that we got from one of the aunties and it looks more like asrama for perguruan. That kind of rooms.

We arrived at Cameron about 3pm and had our first meal at The Lord's Cafe! Strawberry scones... and that was how I knew what exactly is scone. Haha!

Chicken Tart .... delicious!!

Strawberry cheese cake.... ok ok la, still prefer secret recipe's black forest cheese cake!

Julia's chicken chop!! After tea time break, we went back to the room as there's nothing much to do in Cameron.

And in the evening, pasar malam!! Everywhere is strawberries and berries and berries. Cameron looks so red with the berries.

And this lil young boy amazed me because we were standing right in front of him, looking at his mature look and his skillful techniques packing the asam laksa for customers. Not even afraid of the hot soup but he did it pretty well! Good job boy.... your parents will definitely be so proud of you!

And not to forget also, everywhere is jagung and jagung and corn and corn. Seems like the corn there is quite sweet.

BBQ corn is best eaten in cold weather. ngam ngam ngam...

Dinner time... nice to have hot pot especially in cold windy weather!

Day 1 in Cameron ended just like dat.......

The next day, farm visits....

6 for RM10 and it's really cheap, compared to 3 for RM10 in IKEA. I just couldn't resist and there starts my gardening passion again at my lil balcony at home. Hehehe..

That's all for the trip to Cameron and I felt so red after this trip... thanks to the strawberries! Haha! But, I will not go again.. it's boring!

Let's join the crowd at Wangsa Maju Bazaar Ramadhan!

Selamat menyambut Ramadhan Al-Mubarak to all my Malay friends!! And one more week, Selamat Hari Raya to all of you! I can feel the excitement because it goes the same to Chinese New Year. Everyone will be so busy with baking, clothes hunting, cards sending, spring cleaning and etc.

Bazaar ramadhan only exists once a year, thus don't miss this out and let's hunt for food!

Roast chicken! Nice nice!

Justin's all time fav drink, CENDOL! Whenever we're back in Sitiawan, Cendol is a must!

And nasi briyani with ayam masak merah! Awesome one ...

And of course, this is mine.... asam laksa! Need to grab more packs before the bazaar ramadhan ends. Otherwise, I have to pay RM7 for a bowl at shopping mall.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find my last-time-favourite putu piring that I used to buy at WM bazaar few years back. Sigh...
