Popeyes - Louisiana Kitchen @ Sunway Pyramid

Popeyes is just like the next KFC. If you really love KFC, you might like this too. But the spicy is not as spicy as the one in KFC. I still think this Popeyes chicken looks more healthy, less oily compared to KFC. KFC chicken you can see the oil dripping, but not the same for Popeyes. Since they claimed Popeyes is much more better than KFC, so I shall try once! Let's see....

Popeyes Sunway Pyramid, Tel : 03-56312476. It's located at LG2.45, just around the ice skating rink at old wing.



They even have their own chilli & tomato sauce..

Their coleslaw & mashed potato are delicious!!! I swapped the coleslaw with mashed potatoes because the mashed potatoes look very tempting! Obviously, the taste is much much much more better than KFC. I like the mashed potato. Hard to describe the taste, but it has some spicyness, kinda of meaty taste... and it's definitely kicking! Try it to believe it... it's their signature dish anyway.

Their homemade biscuits... the outside tastes like biscuits, but the inside tastes like butter bread. And it's healthy cause less sugar. That's what I think.....

And the fried chicken.... It's really not that oily because when I peel off the skin, no oil is dripping. Unlike in KFC, when I peel off the skin.. oil started to drip and I had to use tissue to wipe away all the oil.


This is really worth trying & for often visit because the price is just the same as in KFC. Perhaps I can say slightly cheaper? Combo meal, 2 pieces of chicken with coleslaw, biscuits, mashed potato and ice lemon tea worth RM9.90. If 3 pieces of chicken set with coleslaw, biscuit, mashed potato & ice lemon tea will cost RM11.95. Since this is almost the same price as KFC, why don't you eat this? The mashed potato is so much more better than in KFC. And the chicken looks healthy! Even though it's fried, but no oil is dripping... haha.
