Day 4 (18.3.2011) - Sydney Color Conference 2011!

We didn't do much on the 4th day at Sydney because me and my MIL attended the Color Conference for the whole day. I just love this conference because I was fed with so much of faith, courage, trust, hope and love! Everyone is just so loving and friendly and yes, they really love God!

In the morning, we had Ps Craig Groeschel preached about Overcoming fear and one of his statement stroked my heart. He said this "What we fear the most is what we treasure the most, and what we fear the most is where we trust God the least". This is so true, in our daily lives, we fear of so many things.. with the world going hay wired, with the so many unpredictable natural disaster, and we worry about our family members, all these, we can't afford but to fear. which also means, where is our trust for God? "Fear is placing faith on the WHAT-IFs"... a very challenging perspective from Ps Craig.

Later on, Jeanne Mayo stepped up and preached about Confidence.

Hebrews 10:35-36
35
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. 36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised

"Dare to be a runner" was what she preached in the first session and many times, when we almost reached the finishing line, we gave up. What a waste.... we regret that we didn't make it to the finishing line, it's already too late and everything has to start over again. "Christ honoring passion coupled with the endurance makes us unstoppable!" and "Passion is energy to the soul. Hype is energy without sincerity."

We had our 1 hour lunch break after this and will be back to the auditorium for the next session which is more towards the sponsorship of girl's child abuse.

We got our tidbits pack from color!

Foodcourt in Paddy's Market was fully packed with girls and women from Color. Haha.

Look at the amount of prawns and wantan.... this bowl cost $10 and again, a very big portion.

I ordered this! Curry laksa.... tastes good, but I can't finish....
And all the street pictures below were captured by Justin as he was walking alone, enjoying himself in the city of Sydney!

Hummer in Sydney and if you plan to hire one .. check out this website - Hummer Limousines Anyone seen any in Msia? I've not ....

Night market in Chinatown ...

Looks tempting rite.. but I didn't try. This stick cost $3. Haha..... an expensive stick!

I was still quite full from the lunch that I had and I just ordered this snack box, only 1 piece of chicken with 1 small mashed potato and gravy.

Cute chicken breast...

Evening session of Color Conference started at 6pm and we had Lisa Bevere preached about Lioness Arising! She shared a very powerful message that challenges women to ARISE like a LIONESS, a fierce and tender model for women.

Numbers 23:24 (NLT)
24 These people rise up like a lioness,
like a majestic lion rousing itself.
They refuse to rest
until they have feasted on prey,
drinking the blood of the slaughtered!”

The raw imagery hit me. I could see it: a lion and his lioness, rising up out of the grass. As they rose, the dynamics of the plain changed from peaceful to electric. Every living creature sensed the lions’ change of posture and watched attentively. The golden ones were awake, stretching, testing the air, surveying their domain, ready to make their move. Perhaps they were hungry. Maybe they were agitated by the presence of an enemy who had violated the marked boundaries of their territory, and it was time to make their presence known.

Once they were up, tensions would be high until their movements ceased. If the lions were restless, there’d be no rest for the other creatures until the lions had fought or feasted, then resettled. - Quoted from the Lisa's Lioness Arising book
