Day 3 (17.3.2011) - Sydney City Tour!

17 Mar 2011 was the official first day of our Colour Conference 2011 but the grand opening will start at night only, 7pm. So, we have the full day to go for city tour and we woke up as early as 8am to explore the city!

From our hotel, we walked towards Sydney Entertainment Centre and thank God we saw a hop on hop off bus passing by. Otherwise we will keep walking until dunno-where to wait for the hop on hop off bus. It is not free, but $35 for 1 adult, for 24 hours. Within the 24 hours, as long as you still keep the ticket tight with you, you can hop on and hop off anytime. Unfortunately, the bus only operates until 7pm. You can purchase the tickets when you hop on the bus. For more info, you can visit their official website - Hop On Hop Off Bus

We didn't hop off anywhere because we just plan to sit in the bus and go round the city first before we hop off at the place that we find interesting to hop.

We passed by this clock tower...

And then Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district (CBD) and the North Shore.

And then Sydney Opera House... eventually, we hop off at this place because we were sort of bored sitting in the bus to finish off round-the-city tour.

You can actually choose to climb the Harbour Bridge, but it is not cheap. Depending on what time of day you choose to Climb (Dawn, Day, Twilight, or Night) prices may vary. Night climb will be scary rite... For price, you can check out at their official website - Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb But this climb will be so much better and easier than our Mount KK climb.

The city view from the sydney opera house..

And here was where we waited for the bus to hop on again for the next destination which is Sydney Fish Market for our lunch.

Looking at those seafood, especially the giant crabs made me so hungry!!

We had our lunch at this restaurant and the place was packed! All tables ordered the giant crabs and they looked pretty delicious!

We ordered seafood platter for 2 persons and it came out to be this BIGGGGG! Phewww.. luckily we didn't order for 4 persons... lol. We also ordered cheese-baked lobster (too hungry that we forgot to have a picture of the lobster) which cost about $19.90 for only half.

Justin ordered grilled salmon for $11.90. So FRESH and NICE!!!

If only this crab is cooked and served right in front of me... I can't imagine how I will react! It will definitely be so yummy and nice... ;)

Don't come here often, otherwise you will be overdosed with calories, fats, cholesterol and etc. They were all so fresh ..... After finished our lunch, we headed back to hotel to prepare for the Colour Conference opening ceremony.

WOW.... look at the amount of people in this entertainment centre. All seats were packed!! Looking for seats was a big problem, and eventually we got two seats at the last row.. last row is not fun when you have to look all the way down, as if you are falling down. Not sure if you get what I mean here.. lolx. Anyway, the opening was awesome and everyone was just so excited for more on the next 2 days of conference.

And while waiting for us, Justin had this burger at MCD, just next to the Entertainment Centre. Jealous!! Haha...
