Bellamy's Organic Baby Porridge

It seems a very rare case that baby is allergy to rice. We fed her with plain porridge and her body reacts, she develops rashes near her mouth few hours later. We have yet to check with her PD what is most likely the cause and for the time being, we are looking for baby food other than rice, which is very very very hard to find. And finally, we found one, Bellamy's organic baby porridge made of oat and millet blend. It's very pricey and this packet worth RM17.80 at Cold Storage can only last 1 week. She's our "ang moh" baby and guess she inherited the taste bud from her daddy. Only western food digestible. =D

I fed her with 1 scoop (milk powder scoop) of this porridge yesterday and it works great for her. No allergy. No rashes. Hopefully this works fine for her body so that we can continue this brand and oat/millet prove to have more nutrients compared to rice. We are trying to stop the Heinz Rusks because the biscuits are extremely sweet for a baby at her age. The sweetness is just like our normal Chipsmore/Oreo biscuits. Ain't it too sugary for a baby? I dislike it much, but I have no choice since she does not have allergy towards Rusks. It's made of wheat and I try to find similar food that is made from wheat as well, but again, it's very very hard to find. Most of the baby food are made of rice.

Hopefully she will outgrow from the "fear of rice" soon and she can have the normal porridge just like us....
