We had our 4 mths checkup at SDMC again on 11 Feb and due for the last pneumococcal & triple antigen vaccine. Her doc would always say "She's due for the next cucuk!" She kinda of knew it, thus.. look at her face. Anyway baby, you still have the last dose of Hep B vaccine nxt mth and that will be the last until you are 1 YO. Hoorrayyy.......... you're doing really great by just crying seconds, not minutes. All in all, you are our strong courageous Sweetie!
Date : 15 February 2012
How far along : 20 weeks
Weight : 6.5kg at 20 weeks checkup
Height : 64cm at 20 weeks checkup. When we were first called up to measure the weight and then height, the nurse took her measurement and went back to the desk to record in her development book. Later on, we heard A's name being called again and we were told to measure the height again. I knew something amiss and I asked the nurse why. She told us the measurement was the same as last month. Well, she tried to adjust a little, and she got 1cm difference. So... this lil baby grew 1cm in 1 month. It's normal according to the doc. Nothing to hype about since she's already quite tall.
Sleep : Not much changes on her sleeping pattern. She did really well and showing as if she was already a big baby that can fall asleep on her own. However, how long can this last? Check out my next post, 21 weeks, coming soon.
Food : We checked with her doc how early we could start her on solid since some of my friends already started their 5mths bubs on puree. Answer : 6 mths. Lol, we knew that could be the answer and yet we try to hit the jackpot. Haaha!
Best moment this week : We bought some toys with bell for her and she kinda of love it. But she gets pretty frustrated when the toy couldn't meet her demand and couldn't transform into the way that she wants it to be and when the toy couldn't fit it ALL in her petite mouth. So.... end up, she got really frustrated and she SCREAMED and bang her mouth with the toy. When we tried to remove the toy from her, she grabbed it even tighter, and we tried to move her fingers around or distract her, but none of it could work because she will end up crying loud. Yes, it's a pretty loud cry. Finally, we decided to just hide the toys away. We will try to get it on a video so that she could have fun looking at all her funny deeds when she's older... =D
